She’s rather predictable but can create a fierce look. She has made a few mistakes too. Whether they even want a new Thatcher is another imponderable.

I deal with a lot of potential and actual business owners and lenders too. Two points
Truss and thatcher. Thatcher had something that even opponents got. Truss you don’t have to go into specifics but whatever boxes she may tick, its just not there. Just isn’t
Hunt did well but right time right place can count for a lot more than skill. It’s just being good enough not to screw up a business although there are some transformative owners too
July 6, 2022 at 11:46 #1605528More junior ministers have resigned.
PMQs might be quite spicy today.
July 6, 2022 at 11:54 #1605530The heat is turned up somewhat then. This is resembling Tombstone 1881 when Earp banged them to rights at the OK corral ! He saved Doc but the evil Clanton gang killed his brother. REVENGE !!!
You describe yourself as a broker Clive a connector. Chalk n cheese she’s not got Thatcher’s knees. First time buyers may be paying 5.8% for a two year mortgage in 23. It’s a scary changeable world and as you say TIMING can be everything.
July 6, 2022 at 12:29 #1605535“To say the UK is now at the level of a Third-World country is surely inaccurate.”
It is inaccurate. If Britain genuinely was a third world country, why would so many people leave Africa and the Middle East, cross the Mediterranean, journey across the whole of Europe and then put themselves at the mercy of people smugglers who bundle them onto flimsy dinghies to make the trip across the Channel?
It seems like a huge risk and very time consuming thing to do in order to reach a third world hell hole. And there are plenty of non third world countries they could have stopped at en route.
July 6, 2022 at 12:50 #1605537Well done Sajid Javid.

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"July 6, 2022 at 13:01 #1605540Cork. It’s almost not worth responding to such drivel from the hard left who seem obsessed with simply hating each and every thing about this country and It’s people and then wonder why no one votes for them or even gives them
A slither of the time of dayJuly 6, 2022 at 13:11 #1605542Taken 8/11 Boris will be gone by the end of the month.
Value Is EverythingJuly 6, 2022 at 14:37 #1605552Rumour gaining traction that Michael Gove, not on the front benches at PMQs but sighted on his phone outside Westminster, has met with Johnson and told him the gig is up and he has to go.

Value Is EverythingJuly 6, 2022 at 15:08 #1605562Well-placed source convinced Boris Johnson won’t quit, even if the 22 change the rules, and he loses a VONC.
Instead, he’ll claim he has a mandate from 14m voters, and will threaten to force an election – but not before deselecting everyone who voted against him.

July 6, 2022 at 15:10 #1605563Mi5? Bullet? Car Bomb? Or the classic medieval method of head chopped off and stuck on a pole at the tower?
