Atlantic Jewel V Frankel? What a waste of time that would be he’d beat her by a furlong
She won the 1000 easily enough but the others who wouldn’t get a job as Frankel’s pacemaker were way too close to be thinking she’s even be within a stone of him.
February 13, 2012 at 14:13 #391111400-200 in 10.64 secs
And had something up the sleeve…
And Frankel’s last furlong (220 yds) in the Sussex Stakes was 10.7 secs. Had something up his sleeve too
February 13, 2012 at 15:04 #391121Dream on Hurdy gurdyman,no chinks in Atlantic Jewel, and the trainer has improved your plodders and put some speed into them unlike Cecil, Kavanagh can get a so called 12f horse to sprint and Peter Moody well he is a class above what you have there
,we seem to do that with all your cast offs,Maybe time your trainers came over here and learned how to train properly

Not as much as she has
18 from 18 pal,not 9 from 9
He has a way to go,but he has your ratings men on his side when compared with others outside thr UK

UM! Best to check the form before you make stupid statements, the horse that ran 2nd to Atlantic Jewel in the 1000 Guineas (Mosheen) came out and won the $1 million Group 1 VRC Oaks by 9 lengths!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 starts later!!! And Mosheen won brilliantly over 7f first up a week ago! In the 1000 Guineas,Atlantic Jewel wasnt let go and cantered to the line!
February 13, 2012 at 15:28 #391128I’d fancy Frankel’s chances against Black Caviar … even at 6 furlongs!
February 13, 2012 at 15:36 #391129Black Caviar would toy with Frankel at 6f, a mile would be a better test of who is the best horse.A big difference from leading by 10 lengths in a 7 or 8 f race midrace to try and go with horses at 6f
February 13, 2012 at 15:50 #391132This from Sam Walker on Black Caviar in today’s Racing Post:
" If she was forced to run sub-12s in the early stages of her races she would eventually run out of steam – and would be highly unlikely to close out a 7f race on a dead track (good to soft) in less than 33s, as she did on the weekend."
Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
February 13, 2012 at 16:01 #391140Sam Walker over her would be called a toss*r:) he is a racing writer who knows sweet FA about Blavk Caviar, 1min 7.3 for 6f in the Newmarket buddy!

Yeah Sam she has cantered in 18 out of 18 d*ck head and all of a sudden she is going to run out of steam

I can’t envisage Black Caviar
toying
with Frankel at 6F. With his ground-eating stride at a fast pace, he’d take her well out of her comfort zone … and still have enough left for a venomous finishing kick.

Black Caviar has a longer stride, when compared to Hay List when she was along side him her stride was much bigger, and hay list is a very long strider, Frankel is not nearly good enough to take Black Caviar out of her comfort zone at 6f.I will put my house on BC having the longer stride, but lets get an impartial report that measures and confirms.
February 13, 2012 at 16:32 #391149Black Caviar is the best racehorse to race in Australia. Undoubtedly the best sprinter in the World. Best sprinter there’s been for many a year. Probably since Dayjur. Decon Blues might (and only might) be able to give her a race. He hasn’t won an official "Grade/Group 1" yet, but certainly produced Group 1 performances in "lesser" races. Needs to improve but is progressing all the time. Hoof It and Bated Breath are also (imo) better than recent generations of European sprinters without the same potential to improve as Decon Blues. Even the latter though, has it to do to beat an in form Black Caviar, a wondermare.

More "d"ingoistic clap trap.
Value Is EverythingFebruary 13, 2012 at 16:50 #391153Black Caviar is untapped as yet, though being Coolmore owned you will have the pleasure of seeing Atlantic Jewel over there soon, So You Think aquitted himself well there,Atlantic Jewel is at another level to him, this filly had an exhibition gallop to destroy the 9 length oaks winner, never once been out of a canter,i havnt seen better here in my life time.

no fact gt, they bring them over here every year and they race like a dour stayer,or buy them from there and the same.Dont use the old class of race factor for Manighars win, have a look at the replay,he was bolting about 3 off the lead and sprinted brilliantly.Have a look at the sprint of Midas Touch at 7f,so it isnt being ‘j’ingoistic ( you misspelled it
)Our blokes can train them to put speed back into them.February 13, 2012 at 17:13 #391157I have no doubt Australians are good trainers Jollyp. But be careful of doing down Sir Henry, he’s God in these parts. There’s never been a better trainer.
Nice to see my "d" taken in good jest.

Hope Black Caviar and Frankel meet, be a race to savour. You won’t be surprised, I believe Frankel would come out on top, at any distance.
I think the reason our "sprinters" haven’t been as good is more to do with our speedier types also having more stamina in them. And if they stay a mile, they stay at a mile.
If only our trainers were as inclined to race their stars at different trips as Australians…
