Yes the profit as always was very pleasant. Unfortunately I’ve just given half of it back on last nights racing.

Not sure what you mean ‘a lot of selections to handle.’

I suppose doing it old school, reading all the form, stats etc then going to the bookies and writing them all out, then a pretty big task. Back in the day I used Pro-Punter and/or Form Master software and it took ages to manually enter all the form. I could barely do the 3 or 4 televised races on a Saturday let alone anything else.

With so much information on the web I prefer the KISS principle ‘Keep It Simple Stupid’. Let other people do the work, whether its tips, ratings, neurals etc and just find an angle that works. Placing bets on the net is a lot easier than placing them at a real bookies. (The two bookies that were a few minutes walk from me have both closed. The next nearest one is about 20 mins away, assuming that has not closed as well.)

Talking of old school, when I first left school I worked in a very well known chemist that has a branch in nearly every high street. Even though I was under age I was given the task of taking peoples bets to the bookies across the road. I think that must have been when I started to become corrupted.
