    Can you keep your ear to the ground about Walkon? Supposedly out for the season, but a guy at the preview who has connections with the horse was optimistic that he may be back sooner.

    Can you keep your ear to the ground about Walkon? Supposedly out for the season, but a guy at the preview who has connections with the horse was optimistic that he may be back sooner.

    He has just started doing some ridden work for the first time in while, and is spending a lot of time in the walker and also the hydrotherapy equipment at the yard.

    It’s just a matter of seeing how things go with him. Some are saying he will race again this season, some are saying he wont.

    I dont think Zaynar will be going for the World Hurdle this year.

    Nicky Henderson believes it is a year too early for the horse.

    When Punchestowns won at Cheltenham last season he said it was a year too soon to be running him over 3 miles. A month later he won the Long Walk hurdle. :lol:

    I’m not saying he will go for it but don’t believe anything is cast in stone where Nicky is concerned….he’ll let the horse tell him after the Relkeel where he should or should not run.
