£150 ew! My limit is more like £1.50 ew otherwise the missus shouts at me!!
January 25, 2013 at 20:41 #427456Can you get this online boz or strictly via telephone? The 33/1 sounds tasty!
Juicy indeed! It did take a phonecall Rich. Probably could be done online but they were taking forever to get back to me so I thought I’d take matters into my own hands.
Anyway, please leave some more of the 33/1 for me guys
January 25, 2013 at 21:12 #427464Don’t worry, I doubt that my £2 ew will trigger a mass shortening of the odds!
January 25, 2013 at 22:47 #427480If you look back I’m a fruity fan and have backed him before and thrown another win bet at him, my other bet in the race is Frontier Spirit who I like very much.
Apart from a place pot my only other bet will be from sentiment, Weird Al has ability and will win again soon
January 26, 2013 at 10:19 #427526What do you reckon about a speculative wager on our old friend
Grands Crus
for the WORLD HURDLE Gord?
33/1 on betfair at the moment.
If he runs disappointingly today I can see Pipe switching codes. Don’t think he’ll stay in the Gold Cup and Ryanair may be too competitive.
World Hurdle looks up for grabs!
Value Is EverythingJanuary 26, 2013 at 13:43 #427561Very interesting cleeve hurdle and the class horse is Oscar whiskey but will he stay?
If you fancy reve de sivola who stays forever and goes in any ground, I advise splitting you to split your stake and have half on him to win today and also the wide open world hurdle at a very, very good 20/1 at laddies, hills were 12s and joes 14s so at 9/4 and 7s the 20s is very good
January 26, 2013 at 15:49 #427583Happy with that, nice 20s voucher now
hopefully get there safe and soundJanuary 26, 2013 at 16:43 #427594Happy with that, nice 20s voucher now
hopefully get there safe and soundBrilliant GDC – well done mate. Top stuff!
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
January 26, 2013 at 17:03 #427598Well, I phoned William Hill this morning to back Un Atout for the 2014 Jewson and they put the phone dwn on me! Charming! Will try again in a few days I think.
I got 50/1 with PP about Imperial Commander for the GC this morning, he’s 25/1 now, and I expect him to be about the 12/1 mark come the day provided he gets there OK. Would be magnificent if he lined up, he showed he still retains his enthusiasm on unsuitable ground with a fantastic run. Top bananas.

Certainly a good price now GDC.
Are you worried about Nick Williams poor record at the Festival? No winner yet, then again Reve has run well there before. Suspect racing prominently is important to him nowadays, jumps far better than when in behind horses. Fewer front/prominent runners turn up in March the better his chance. Suited today when Knockara Beau went wide and Carruthers seemed content to stay tracking/on inner. Plenty of room to see for Reve.Strange thing is a poor run saw Grands Crus price shorten up. At least temporarily.

Great to see him back and in great form, thought he jumped magnificently, gutted he was chinned on the line today but NTD can’t be anything other than very happy with that. 33/1 still available for The Gold Cup, looks way too big to me?

January 26, 2013 at 21:00 #427633I set off this morning in 6" of snow got to the Course for 10.30am and it was a beautiful Sunny Morning. My mission to get as many shots of
Sprinter Sacre
as I could, trouble is every Tom Dick and Harry had the same idea which makes things a bit more difficult,Nonetheless,I had the pleasure of a couple of minutes where there was just me the horse and his very obliging Lad as he came out of the Vets stable from a routine Drug test, everyone else had gone to watch the Argento………Mission Accomplished!

Reve de sivola
is definately better the softer the ground is,
Oscar Whiskey
granted good ground would have won today so again its stick a pin in time!…….
Tidal Bay

Bog Warrior

Reve de sivola
January 26, 2013 at 23:03 #427655I’m very happy to have reve de sivola at a nice price and hopefully he will turn up safe and sound
its gonna be a good raceJanuary 27, 2013 at 11:11 #427681I’m not concerned with nick Williams Cheltenham record as reve de sivola has a sound record at the course and in all ground
