Ginger i never get put off by a price am on SANTCUAIRE at 50/1 to beat Sprinter Sacre in Champion chase
I think this COLOUR VISION will improve a lot more this year am not sure if he beat FAME AND GLORY but i think it could be close.
May 3, 2012 at 12:05 #402893Gord how you think THE FUGUE will run on sunday it looks like she be in the 1000 guineas. And with WADING out who is your tip for the race.
May 3, 2012 at 12:11 #402894Darren: From comments within the yard I think they are more confident of a big run in the Oaks rather than the 1000 Gns mate.
I’ve taken a chance on the impressive looking Moonstone Magic although the ground may have gone against her come Sunday
May 3, 2012 at 18:37 #402924I agree mate since her maiden win i been all over her for the oaks
But i still think she run a decent race on sunday not saying she win but she run ok.May 3, 2012 at 20:52 #402939darren, we have spoken about her on several ocassions but if there is a horse in the 1000gns that will take money on Sunday, particularly if the ground was to turn very soft its
The Fugue
at 20/1 she is the e/w bet in the race if the weather turns for the worse she goes off 12/1 and will beat the fav. This
Maybe
is a proper Guineas filly but she has No chance of winning the Oaks,No chance! Why? Because I was at Nottingham to back
Kind
one spring day in a 6f conditions race and this
Sumora
‘Maybe’s’ Dam looked distinctly average even as a sprinter, she never even got 7f! Nah 5/1fav for the Oaks is a Joke.
May 4, 2012 at 11:31 #402965Do you ever look at a race and straight away the ‘Winner’ hits you right between the eyes?
You take a second look and scroll down the field hoping there’s nothing else catches your attention,a third look tells you the ground and draw seem perfect, you noticed instantly the right mans on board….even though he could be riding for his retained stable…(Possible weight discrepancy there!).The adrenalins coursing by now..What price, what price, have I missed the 5/1? Straight onto the machine to see whats happening………..deflation,like a balloon being popped you see £2 available at 3’sFury
sets in! Straight onto Oddschecker……..Nothing,no prices, bloody hell you think! The race is 2.0pm tomorrow its time to get it priced up! In my world he’s a 2/1fav and will power home, lets hope just one odds-compiler hasn’t been reading this and goes 7/2……Dreeeeeeeeam,Dream,dream,dream!

No, but the value bet (or three value bets) certainly does.
Light
,
Moonstone
and
Discourse
. Will wait for the latter as she’s almost bound to drift, being the stable "second string. Can get around 8/1 for both the former pair (7/2 combined). Once Discourse is added I suspect it’ll be around 5/2 combined. That’s much better than the favourite on her own.
Value Is EverythingMay 4, 2012 at 17:18 #402989Billy’s offering 11/2 will have you mightily pleased then lol The Ellison horse looks the one to beat but cannot be in the same class surely!
What do you think of DUNEDEN in the 230? Very eye catching jockey booking for this world traveller, i thought he would be fav also! Ground will catch a few out but not him.
May 4, 2012 at 17:32 #402991Gord
I think your FURY will win tomorrow first time i backed him to.
Any thoughts on the sprint race i like TEMPLE MEADS smart at 2 but missed last year. How many times we see horses off for a long break run a cracking race on 1st start.
ABTAAL is a horse i rate high to the french use there trails different to us.ABTAAL was 70 percent fit was not given a hard time and only just lost.Am on BORN TO SEA at 50/1 win bet too.
May 4, 2012 at 17:54 #402993Your loyalty is commendable, but this Fury has been raised 6lbs since the start of the season without winning. Last time out he looked to have every chance and he either ran out of steam or ducked the issue. Perhaps a return to the Rowley Mile and an increase in trip
will bring about some improvement but he looks reasonably well exposed and handicapped up to the level of his ability.
It is a big ask of a 3yo against his elders at this time of year, so the declaration of Graphic takes the eye. He ran on well from an unpromising position in the Esher Cup last week. 18/1 makes interesting reading.May 4, 2012 at 17:57 #402994Darren: Hope you do not mind me replying to the question also!
Fury hopefully will be held onto a lot later and win going away, class will tell in this ground!
ABTAAL looks a massive runner, HERMIVAL is my outsider at a tasty 25s.
I like the look of Duneden in the 2nd too, will love the ground as well.
I am a huge Temple Meads fan BUT not tomorrow, yes the break wont affect him from this yard BUT the break and soft ground will surely scupper him!!
Good luck though

Well spotted GDC took it last night as for this
Duneden
Not for me,I like
Sadeeks Song
,I can see bigger things for him in the future as I can for
Masked Marvel
,trouble is there they still dont know whats his trip!
Gold Cup imo.May 5, 2012 at 10:25 #403089darren if
Born To Sea
wins you will truly be ‘The Ante-Post King’,50/1 is a cracking price and you would think he has a brilliant chance of placing at least! You did back him e/w??
As for the sprint,I struggle to splitMargot Did
and
Inxile
.Good Luck,your efforts deserve reward!

Fury
is a progressive sort Eclipse,he’ll carry the weight No problem and he’ll get the trip stood on his head, its just a case of there being a well handicapped ‘Dark horse’ in the race, possibly Cumanis, either way a repeat of both the Lincoln and spring Cup runs sees the Grey placed again for sure.
Fury
£200 e/w 5/1 Bet365 2,0pm Newmarket.
£1650

No he’s not Ginge and neithers my other 25/1 Ante-Post selection
St Nicholas Abbey
! But hey I’m right into this
Colour Vision
now, both you and Darren spotted him well!
I spotted thisSadeeks Song
down at the Greatest course in the world and he really caught my eye, even old grumpy draws Fallon couldn’t help but smile,he took off inside the last furlong and I said then he was a Group horse,We’ll see!
May 5, 2012 at 12:58 #403131I’m sure you haven’t forgotten your Age Of Aquarius being touched off by Rite Of Passage two years ago, if that one get’s back on track for the race he’s the one to be on at 8/1 imo. The fact that he’s had his problems is a worry though!
