With the Irish racing starting this week lets start this thread on day one.I know that is the only 2yo race on card.But right to start on day 1.
Has anyone heard any news on this Emperor Hardrian he is a Holy Roman Emperor colt out of Gided Edge.
And any stable tours out yet as well.
Bloody hell, this must be March Hare day.
I actually tried looking up Emperor Hadrian on Pedigree Query, but the site is down until 7pm Pacific Time. That’s a bit beyond me, because my brain is on Sydney time.
Wait a minute, we’ve missed a year out here. Darren is thinking about the 2011 Classics.
Anyway, the reason I was checking the years, was I was thinking this post belongs on the 2009 2yo one. Surely the APOB to take note of on Sunday is this one:-

Holy Roman Emperor is 11/4 favourite to be leading First Season Sire ( based on number of races won by progeny).
I must admit there are quite a few names in the list that are new to me, as they were running towards the end of the period when I didn’t have a telly etc.
Sleeping Indian has got some precocious 2yos I believe – he’d be an outside bet for this.
Jeez, the Pedigree Query website was closed for maintenance a few hours ago, and it now seems buggered.
I tried adding Sleeping Indian, and Sadler’s Wells doesn’t have any parents!

High Award could be good but has a terrible draw as does the above.
Kevin Prendgast usually get out early with his 2yr old so they could be the most forward
Don’t know why but i got a strong feeling that Jim Bolger by the end of this year will have a top 2yo colt in the making of Teofilo and New Apporach.
Emperor Hadrian is 5/2 at the Sportinglife which is a suprise has they had him 6/4.
However O’Brein has not won this race for 6years so a bit of a curse for him.
Yeah I had a quick look at the race earlier and liked Madeira Man so have had 10 on him. Prendergast gets his 2yos winning early and he’s quite stoutly bred too.
