Happy with Blow By Blow 20s and Ballyward 33s. It’s Elliott and Mullins after all.
I will take on OK Corral. Henderson has had favourites for this race before and can’t seem to win it. And I’m convinced it was 1 race too many for the Kim Bailey horse last time.
January 25, 2019 at 17:05 #1393612Do you think Glenloe is going here?
January 25, 2019 at 20:40 #1393648Think he has a very strong chance of going for this CNC
January 25, 2019 at 20:51 #1393651Anything to be said for Mall Dini?
January 25, 2019 at 21:02 #1393656Not entered Wexford, which is slightly odd as presumably the GN is on the agenda. Likely now via the Kim Muir perhaps.
January 25, 2019 at 21:45 #1393657Got an entry for The Topham last year, so connections obviously no concerns with putting him over the fences. He’ll surely get an entry.
Think Kim Muir will be Target #1 though if he gets the right mark.
Good to see you back Milbear.
January 25, 2019 at 22:41 #1393668Rather stupid of me not to check the entries regarding Mall Dini, I just assumed he would have been entered. Just saw Patrick Mullins riding him yesterday at Gowran, so yes, the Kim Muir seems most likely
January 27, 2019 at 14:30 #1393950You’ll be pretty happy with the price you have on Ballyward Mike, he jumped economically and presumably isn’t fully tuned up yet.
January 27, 2019 at 14:35 #1393952Ballyward was impressive there. Roll on march
January 27, 2019 at 14:37 #1393953Happy with that green.
January 27, 2019 at 15:04 #1393959Unfortunately Mullins said this post race…
“I’d imagine the RSA will be the race for him. He has lots of stamina and seems to jump well enough.”
Did he say that? this is on the irish racing website.
January 27, 2019 at 15:06 #1393960In my opinion he wouldn’t win the RSA.
January 27, 2019 at 15:26 #1393963Interview is on the RTV site, he said either or but they’d need to supplement for the RSA and with Santini & Delta Work Looking a level above be surprised if they did.
January 28, 2019 at 04:07 #1394018Thought ballyward was very impressive and showed huge improvement from his first run. Hope he get there on the day as I have smashed him on loads of EW multiplies at 33s, think he will be 6/1 on the day.
January 29, 2019 at 19:43 #1394182I haven’t seen the interview but Ruby said on RTV ballyward goes here which is great news
January 30, 2019 at 17:18 #1394289I wasn’t sure on where to post this but he seems to have been mentioned mostly in this thread so here goes….
Does anyone have a sense of Deja Vu with the performances of Blow by Blow? Last year, he was terrible throughout the season and then come the Festival he never looked like losing in the Martin Pipe. I wonder whether he’s being aimed at one of the handicaps again this year. I get he might be a ‘spring-horse’ but sometimes he seems so off the pace it’s unreal.
January 30, 2019 at 17:58 #1394300I’m a bit like that CNC. Hopefully a similar one like Cause of Causes and Tiger Roll. They ran some total shockers during the year which you would never give them a chance of winning at Cheltenham. Certainly a leap of faith required to back him now like after that last run.
