May 1, 2022 at 15:49 #1596521Super job Turk
May 1, 2022 at 15:51 #1596522Nothing went with her.
Well done Turk’Value Is EverythingMay 1, 2022 at 15:52 #1596523Inspiral the moral winner…
First and second here third and second in fillies mile to Inspiral.
Value Is EverythingMay 1, 2022 at 16:17 #1596536Not surprised there was a big priced winner. I did not like the front of the market at all. Unfortunately I did not select the right one at the big prices but at least Zellie scraped into the places.
I thought Ameyrat ran well. Her lack of experience showed at the start and put her on the back foot but she travelled up quite well. One to keep on the right side.
May 1, 2022 at 16:28 #1596539Thank you GG, GT, Wilts. Superb pace ride by James Doyle. I believe her time was quicker than yesterday’s 2000 Guineas winner? Can’t say enough praise about George Boughey, great training job! Was a bit disappointed with Malavath, I thought she would run better than what she showed…
May 1, 2022 at 16:55 #1596544The wind behind them today unlike yesterday.
May 1, 2022 at 18:03 #1596558Well done anyone who had her and fantastic for connections and Ralph Beckett with the 2nd so good day for ‘lesser’ connections, I know Ralphs had on Oaks winner and a St Leger winner but a few quiet years of late. I’d like to say Inspiral must be something special and she probably is but you suspect this will be a very very ordinary renewal where fillies meeting them at Ascot and later on in the year will fancy their chances. Time will tell.
May 1, 2022 at 18:08 #1596559Nice to see a Trial winner going on to win the Classic.
Value Is EverythingMay 1, 2022 at 19:08 #1596569Who knows for sure but i bet the trainer of the second is thinking maybe it might of been a good idea to of had a prep run. Surely would of won in another two or three strides.
May 1, 2022 at 22:48 #1596615Fantastic front running display from Cachet she loves Newnarket and James Doyle over the moon to have won both classics. First Nell Gywn winner since Speciosa to win the 1000 Guineas.
Well done to all who backed her. wish I had.As noted by Cork Ameynah ran a very good race to finish 6th and Sandrine in 5th also caught my eye at the finish.
Malavath did not look happy in the parade ring today something was amiss with her she kept shaking her head about she’ll do better next time. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 2, 2022 at 11:15 #1596667Good to see someone other than godolpin or coolmore winning a classic. Good winner and looked a fairly decent race. Big disappointments were tenebrism and discoveries. Tenebrism didnt stay but not sure about discoveries. Maybe the ground.
Ideal oaks prep for Tuesday. Looked all over will be better over further.May 2, 2022 at 23:06 #1596755Tuesday is a June foal with a middle-distance pedigree.
She’s run a cracking Oaks trial there.
