It’s the Nell Gwyn next week, the Fred Darling at the weekend.

I wonder how the 1,000 Guineas favourite is?

I’ve fotgotten its name, but it was a similar story with Gosdens best 2yo filly last season as well wasn’t it? Deafening silence. And then a delayed and underwhelming return as a 3yo.

Admittedly this one (someone put me out of my misery!) wasn’t 1000G jolly, but it was very prominent in the classic betting from memory.

She’s not in the Nell Gwyn and if she isn’t in the Fred Darling either then she’s going straight to the Guineas or there’s a problem.

It was Indigo Girl TTC, I remember as I backed her for both the guineas and the oaks very likely after shed had a setback but gosden didn’t say anything

She was 2nd or 3rd fav for the guineas and I think fav for the oaks

Surprised they don’t seem likely to run Agartha at Newmarket.
3/4 length 2nd behind Discoveries in the Group 1 Moyglare
1 length 2nd behind Homeless Songs in the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on reappearance, giving the winner 3 lbs.
On form doesn’t have much to find to beat two fillies who are well fancied for the race.

Thats the one FF, thanks. Silence was deafening with that thing for months. Very odd for a classic shortie from a huge yard.

I reckon Cachet is a 111 filly after today.

Not quite good enough and needs to find more, but at least she’s alive and well.

I shall don my best anorak and endeavour to analyse her time relative to the rest of the card.

Smart performance that, not quite sure she’s good enough to win a Guineas however.

If you were “sure” she’d win a Guineas after a maiden, the nut house would beckon. I’d be confident she is well above average however and I’ve seen worse 33/1 suggestions. She looked very nice indeed to my beady eyes.

The time was nothing to write home about relative to the following race.

That doesn’t mean Ameynah isn’t capable of clocking good times – it just means she didn’t clock one there, merely beating what was against her in good style.

I was quite impressed with her as well, TTC. Maybe the Guineas might come too soon but she looks well above average, to say the least. Maybe find a soft race for her to get some more experience and then a crack at the Coronation Stakes?
