    That was bad by Arthur Kitt (was on him at 4/1) and absolutely awful by Beatboxer.
    Nothing to take from this race IMO.

    RacingPost for me.

    The RTRs as bad as sometimes they are, usually give me a good first glance of the past races of a horse. Of those horses that have an interesting profile I study the form closer. I’m usually betting at horses with odds bigger than 4/1.

    Timeform was good to me in the past as well.

    Sad and happy at the same time about Sovereign.
    Sov was one of my favourite horses and enjoyed watching him. So beautiful.

    Goddess ran a stinker. Had a good bet on the eventual winner, proven form and showed that is much the best from those.

    The way she won was very impressive and I will trust the eye test. I, however, acknowledge that a mile might not be within her reach, but I’m willing to take the risk, just like I took it with Alpha Centauri last year (didn’t run on the UK Guineas ultimately, but I was on the right horse).
