Fairyland 8/1
Think she’ll have stepped forward from her win the last day, as she’ll have been given an easy time of it through July/August when the worst of the bug was around.
Pretty Pollyanna could be too good for the field (My Guineas bet hopes she is) but she’s skinny enough for me.
September 27, 2018 at 13:33 #1375860Fairyland could well step forward from the Lowther, Kev (with Ballydoyle in much better form now). But she’ll need to find a hell of a lot.
Pretty Pollyanna ranges from 5/4 to 13/8 in the market. I’d say 5/4 is too short, 13/8 is reasonable. However, she beat Signora Cabello only 3/4 length in France. For me 9/2 is far too big, haven’t backed her yet as it’s pretty much 9/2 across the board. If anyone disagrees and wants to Lay some of my bets on betfair’s win and each way markets (the only bet up yet on the whole market) @ 5.2/1 – would be very grateful.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2018 at 19:49 #1375957Not really my kind of race with the front two being so short and it does look a coin toss between the two of them.
I have been tempted though by SO PERFECTat 10/1 and 9/1 each way. Less than a length behind Signor at Royal Ascot and has since beaten Skitter and ran second to Advertise. IMO on that form she should be about the same price as Fairyland!!

September 29, 2018 at 10:29 #1376010Had a closer look and Pretty Pollyanna made all at Newmarket and Chantilly. Will probably need to do something she has not done in those two excellent performances.
Signora Cabello looks a really good each way poke. Took 5/1 but gone in again @ 13/2. Had a few quid on Comedy @ 99/1.
Value Is EverythingSeptember 29, 2018 at 14:30 #1376043What a stinker by Signora Cabello… Was on her too and that was awful.
September 29, 2018 at 14:50 #1376045Michael Bell didn’t look happy when asked about Pretty Polyanna being held up. Think it was jockey decision.
October 1, 2018 at 17:15 #1376148WELL DONE KEV
