I don’t really understand why Denim And Ruby has such a high prize. She was a nose second in the Japan Cup last year and just displayed good form in the Tenno Sho Autumn. To me a far better bet than Just A Way who never made the distance.

To watch the Japanese race videos.
Some more information on the Japan Cup.

The 3-y-o just don’t seem very special this year to me, may be an older horse will win this time.

And I agree with parlo on Ivanhowe. This was Nick Mordins comment about Ivanhowe in

    2013

    :

"Ivanhowe is not entered in the Arc. But if he does what I think he’ll do by taking the Deutsches Derby and Grosser Preis von Baden impressively his connections will surely consider supplementing him for the race. His combination of stamina and acceleration would make him ideally suited to Europe’s top race."

Ivanhowe became injured during the Derby 2013 and had a long break afterwards.

On See the Moon at huge odds and these rumours are a worry – where are they coming from?

The rumours are about Sea The Moon not to start in the

    Grosse Preis von Baden

, which he was (is) supposed to do.

The owner recently said he would not start, if the ground would be wrong…

In Germany’s most important forum several people say they are sure he will not run:

The odds on this race are pretty strange too (200 percent)

    What about Avenir Certain?
Five of the last six Arc winners were 3-years-old and the last three were fillies.

Seems like Sea The Moon will not run the

    Grosse Preis von Baden

, that’s at least what is discussed in German forums. He might be injured… Rumours …

Eishin Flash is out as well (he retires too).

    Curren Mirotic

might be an interesting horse, he won a group 2 race on his debut recently.
    More info to the race.

I can’t understand why Eishin Flash made the pace. He usually comes from behind. Strange…
Should be an interesting race in December when Orfevre and Kizuna show up in the Arima Kinen.

    Eishin Flash

finished very strong the last two races, he might have a chance, if the pace is slow.
Okay… Gold Ship should win this.

he’ll be going at single figures on the day anyway.

Al Kazeem’s time is over for this season, he’s a lay.

I checked now several online radios. Timeform radio is often even slower then ATR. Coral and Sporting Life radio (it’s the same) are a bit quicker, and I think Willhill is still the quickest, depends on the course.
I suppose they are still slower then SIS pictures in the UK?

To be honest, I don’t care much about it. I look if a horse looks well and if the race is longer than 2m, I have time enough until the race really starts. :|

Thank you very much for your informative answers and the very interesting Guardian article!!

It’s quite a bit disappointing that it seems impossible to get the races without delay :( At least I detected that William Hill Radio is some seconds quicker than ATR.

Do you may be know other internet radios without delays?
