If What So What and Totheroadyou’vegone two names off the top of the head…
Frozen Fire the one you’re thinking of Aragorn.
Henrythenavigator certainly has questions to answer now, but I certainly havn’t given up all hope just yet.
Now I’m no fan of Taaaaarnya but you should have heard him at Newmarket last week – "WHERE’S MY FEMALE??" he bellowed in an irritated voice, whilst she was sitting 3ft behind him!
Not a big fan of McCririck either, but there are certain moments with this guy, and this was actually one of them, where the sheer buffoonery just makes me laugh.
Some balls Hourigan made of that trackside…..

Hope I didn’t put you off a winner Ratpack.
Quality tipping all round again.. between us we managed to tip up (or at least give a positive mention to) the first three home.. well done all!
Another tricky handicap indeed. Ground at Limerick will be a different kettle of fish to Listowel, where the rain before the off seemed to get in to the ground. Although the first two home in the Kerry National are obviously leading contenders here, I would just have a niggling doubt about whether either of them will be ideally suited by a surface as fast as today’s is likely to be.
Might pay to back one that is sure to relish the conditions, and with that in mind, I’ve had a small EW on Noel Meade’s ‘second-string’ Whataboutya. Loves fast ground, quite attractively handicapped, although I must admit I only got 8’s about him. Mossbank is another interesting runner, but Hourigan’s made a balls of him IMO and I couldn’t be backing him myself.
Or Rio De La Plata!
Fair play to Mr. Twiston-Davies indeed. Is he a TRF lurker perhaps?

Perhaps that quote was taken a little bit out of context given that the next line was:
"I would be torn between which one to back.
"Fair play to Bolger for running the horse.
Prufrock raises a good point about New Approach’s temperment though, which seems to have gotten noticeably and progressively worse.
This thread is just begging for a comment that might just end me up down the barracks…

Perhaps the Chat Room could be used to discuss issues of the day! Say 9pm each night!
Was just thinking the same thing myself.. shouldn’t really create any problems, as long as all transcripts are immediately destroyed..

Seriously though, a very good idea.
Stays in training next year but is finished for the year.
My comment that fast ground is more important to him over 10 furlongs than it is over 12 was simply down to the fact that he has more time to hit top gear over the extra two furlongs..
Dylan Thomas is a top class racehorse who is fully effective at 10f to 12f and acts on good to soft and firm ground. He ran right up to his best in the Juddmonte in my opinion, merely beaten by a slightly better horse on the day.
While I agree that Dylan Thomas is effective on good to soft DJ, there is no doubt in my mind that he is best on geniune fast ground. Just couldn’t get to Authorized (who had his ideal conditions) on the ground in the Juddmonte IMO.
I am also of the opinion that fast ground is considerably more important for Dylan Thomas over 10 furlongs than it is over 12.
Would tend to take the view that winning the Arc on the back of such a tough campaign is a great credit to the toughness and durability of Dylan Thomas (built like a Panzer) rather than an example of how "easy" it is to win the King George and Arc in the same year myself!
Don’t want to get in to the age-old trainer argument Clive but, as far as Ed Dunlop is concerned, the adage ‘one swallow doesn’t make a summer’ comes to mind.
Vadapolina should give Light Shift plenty to think about if the ground is on the softish side.
How highly that Prix de Psyche form DJ?
Secretariat’s Belmont…
Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo..
