Thanks for that – I’m giving up now and fingers crossed it’ll be working OK in the morning!

I’ve got a reference book of colours but would need owners’ names …
Sadly two more today: Green Belt Flyer running a blinder in the Fontwell Hunter chase when somersaulting at the last and young hurdler Fairoak Haitch who fell at the last hurdle at Exeter

Extract from Racing Post re Hobbs Hill:
"He holds entries in the Ryanair Chase and Royal & SunAlliance Chase at the Cheltenham Festival next month but will be given time to recover before Egerton’s team assess their options.
Frank Berry, racing manager for McManus, said: "He was quite sore leaving the racecourse yesterday but he’s fine really this morning."He is still sore and it was a bad fall but it was just good to see him get up after it.
"He has a bit of bruising so we’ll just see how he is in a week or so. He had jumped well up to that point and I’m just happy he got up."
Yes and sadly Granit Jack paid the ultimate price … could have easily been both those two yesterday.
Hobbs Hill is indeed 9 years old but yesterday was only his 11th race ever so not many miles on the clock. Although his new owner has no doubt paid megabucks for him I’d like to see him put away now and come out again next year – if he has to come out again I agree Ayr would be preferable to Cheltenham/Aintree.I hope they’re both given plenty of TLC, some time off and plenty of confidence giving experiences … I HOPE they don’t run at Cheltenham … they’re young and have time on their side – after those falls their owners are lucky to have horses in one piece!
I was watching on RacingUK and for once they were pretty good – actually saw both horses get to their feet and the commentator kept us informed too.
Terrible falls – particularly Hobbs Hill – so relieved to see both got up quickly – amazing! PHEW!!
Just watched that and Psycomodo took a horrible fall – so glad he’s OK.
Sport in Port and Joe MacGuire – both at Clonmel …
What’s this about??????

Fingers crossed the op goes well and things improve for the yard. Constantius was going so well and didn’t deserve that crunching fall. Kim’s web site is fantastic and shows a lovely attitude towards all the horses – I especially like the section which gives news about the former inmates such as Master Oats and Docklands Express – lovely to hear they’re still going and enjoying their active "retirement".
Hope it’s OK to post a link to it:Thanks for the link which I’d missed – actually I then clicked on the wrong link and thought you were his personal trainer and that’s why you knoew of his muscle problem …

Thank you again for the above reply. I do still find it strange that obvious incidents – like Campaign Charlie – are not mentioned. The antis find out the info anyway – lists are on their site. Sometimes horses do survive when the fall looks a bad one and it’s great to know they are OK but as we can’t rely on Racing Post info – as in the case of C Charlie who is still listed as just a faller – we can’t assume a horse is OK just because RP hasn’t put the dreaded D word. I am not at all interested in betting although I of course realise it’s importance to many – and as such I find it very annoying when that side can be analysed in the most minute detail and yet finding out about the welfare of horses doesn’t seem to merit the same attention. So this is just a plea to race readers etc to PLEASE give us the info good or bad. Thank you.
Thank you Leemac fro replying.
What about Campaign Charlie – he fell at the first at Taunton yesterday – apparently the screens were still around by the time the next race started but no mention of his fate – and there isn’t even today on the Rcaing Post analysis. His trainer, Kim Bailey confirms he didn’t make it.Didn’t know – where did you find info? Was in my possible group to back for National …
What’s the relevance of the above few postings to the original posting about Sixo???
