Thankyou and yes please vtc
I’m not sure what happened. I must have pressed the wrong button lol.Espoir d’Allen, the 3yo gelding ran once in FR in an AQPS flat and won it.He’s now been bought by JP McManus.
J.P. McManus now has a new French juvenile Espoir d’Allen. The 3yo shares same sire as Defi du Seuil. This was the French AQPS race he won.
Espoir d’Allen won the boys version of the AQPS flat race Empreinte Reconce won at the same meeting. Both of them are sired by Voix du Nord.
It’s not known yet which trainer Espoir d’Allen gone to.He shares very similar profile to Defi du Seuil,so may join him and go to Hobbs too.
Apple’s Shakira, who’s a 3yo full sister to Apple’s Jade. The filly ran just once in FR and won it very well:
Apple’s Shakira – Vichy 3-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle
This was the exact race Apple’s Jade won 2 years prior, very likely she’ll be campaigned just like her sis in juvenile division over here.
Chante Neige ran with lots of promise on debut, jumped superb(will be a future chaser) & was beaten by 2 smart fillies on day.A top prospect.
Chante Neige has moved to Ireland. Mullins has bought 2 from Macaire fairly recently (Annamix & Burrows Saint),so a chance she’s gone to WM.
Next is Deal d’Estruval, the Macaire trained 4yo ran 3 times in France (all in 2017) over hurdles finishing 4th, 3rd and 2nd last time out.
On bare form, Deal d’Estruval’s French form does not stand out. However, Macaire has a tendency to run his horses early.
Deal d’Estruval did not run as a 3yo in 2016 and only started this year, may suggest the son of Balko is quite backward and needs time.
Delire d’Estruval, has now moved to Ben Pauling and is owned by Munir & Souede.
Desiremoi d’Authie, the 4yo ran once in an AQPS flat race in the provinces. The son of Cachet Noir proved a class apart winning easily
Desiremoi d’Authie now moved to UK,the quality of the field he beat was average, but he won easily and it was only his debut. Could be smart.
Dissavril, the 4yo ran twice in FR,both were AQPS flat races. She finished 4th on debut & 2nd next time out 4 months later
This was Dissavril’s debut in which the daughter of Balko made an encouraging start finishing 4th (purple silks):
In her last race, she ran second to a top prospect who’d have provided a form boost next time out had he sadly not gone wrong at end of race.
Dissavril has now moved to the UK. The daughter of Balko has shown plenty of potential and should improve going jumping, is a nice prospect.

will be going into single figures for the supreme before he ever sets foot on a race course.
2nd in the prix de saint voir at vichy when tenderly handled trained by guillame macaire. Now owned by (ms s ricci) rich ricci and trained by willie mullins.
The form has worked out pretty awful with plenty of runners from the race since. But he’s been in the yard since October 2016 and improvement is inevitable.
I won’t be surprised to see plenty of hype for annamixGods own for me already backed at 7/1 ew 1/5
2 wins from 2 at punchestown.
A terrible run at aintree has to be forgiven but that came close to cheltenham and on a left handed track.
I thought he was in with every chance coming to the 2nd last in the champion chase before a jumping error. He loves it round punchestown and hes crying out for some decent ground and a right handed track once again although not really sure what last seasons form ammounted to with vautour running over 2 miles and Simonsig running after a very long layoff with neither completing a race since.
I wish I took a price on Fox norton tbh. But i diddnt think he would turn up here after going up in trip at Aintree.
I could never back until de sceaux on the likely ground at that price although obviously he’s a likely winner.
I was slightly tempted by Ballycasey who is in very good heart at the moment dropping back in trip but it’s unlikely he would have a chance of winning in this class.
Good luck vtc. Both have ew chances.
And will be shorter on the day with 2 places.Irish cavalier and flemenstar no hopers. As much as I’d like to see him win, i can’t have Coneygree what so ever in this race. And agree with the above post he may not even take his chance with the likely ground.
Champagne West although over priced with 3 places at 16s he won’t get his ground and barring falls i can’t see him finishing infront of outlander. Djakadam or sizing john.
The front 2 are solid but don’t represent any value at the current odds. And both had a hard race at cheltenham. And Djakadam would be wanting an ease in the ground conditions to be seen at his best.Outlander a big ew bet for me. 3 places at 12s.
And max 7 runners. With zabana out and the market not reacting.Yanworth 16/1 jlt
Petit mouchoir 16/1 Arkle
Charbel 25/1 qmcc
Blow by blow 20/1 Albert bartlettWould be my idea of bets at the moment. but I’m hoping I can hold out and leave them alone until next year.
Yanworth
Regardless of whether he runs in the Aintree Hurdle on the opening day of the Grand National meeting, a chasing campaign awaits next season.
King said: “I think it looked as if he does want more of a trip. He travelled very well early on. They didn’t go very quick and down the hill he was caught flat-footed, then stayed on up the hill.
“If we run him again, I would imagine we go two and a half at Aintree. If not, that would be him and he will go chasing next season.
“He was jumping big, but that is why we put the cheekpieces on. He looked like he had run an awful race, but he stayed on up the hill and with another few strides would have been sixth.
“I am pleased with the way he finished the race off.”
Yanworth for the Stayers Hurdle at 14’s
Goes novice chasing
The best lesson i learned was about laying horses in running which will help a lot cutting down losses and sometimes making a profit instead of breaking even.
Example Lil Rockerfeller i had to win 2K plus and left a lay in place @ 20.0 to cover my stake as a free bet. Instead of watching from the couch to enjoy the race i’m quite sure i could of won over £500 guaranteed easily if i was at the PC.
When / if i get in a position like that again, 100% i will be watching the screen and listening to the race.

Very good point, I picked that up from last year’s festival with shaneshill in the rsa but I still diddnt put it to use this week.
However this time Willie mullins saved the dayThankyou very much once again vtc for running an excellent competition. Hope you had a good week
1st Djakadam
2nd native river
3rd Outlander.
And I’ll have the monster munch pleaseThanks for the opinions.
I personally think brain powers handicap Mark is massively inflated. The horses he’s beat this season, he should have beaten in similar fashion on his fair form last season.
On his novice form he’d have no chance against buveur dair.
Basically I’ve just gone with last year’s novice form. Also Moonracer I’ve thought he was a very special horses since his 1st win for pipe . and on a very rare occasion completely gone with my heart and I genuinely believe aside from faugheen he’s the most talented bumper horse I’ve ever seen. Ever he can translate that form to hurdles is unknown. And regards to his rating, he hasn’t ran in open company so I’m not surprised by his mark. It’s a simular situation to wholestone and West approach.
What is it if I may ask that backers see in brain power? In regards to winning a champion hurdle.
