I Decided to ignore the stats and thankfully it came off. A very impressive horse and maybe we have seen an Ascot Gold Cup horse for the next few years. Also we have seen one hell of a young jockey to ride a 9/2 in the 30 odd runner 2m race and to ride him to perfection was very very impressive

Not the strongest race so a good opportunity for F&G to grab another Group 1 and im sure grand ducal and set sail will set the race up for him. I think he will come back as a 4 year old and try to do a Duke of Marmalade with him then send him to stud.

Arcano for me. Solid group 1 form with the prix morny looking a hot race after special duty boosted the form.

The only cheating in that race was done by the french when the pacemaker came off the rail to let Stacelita in which is against the rules. Ive never heard a french racing offical actually explain the reason for the rule but what do we expect when a british horse beats a french horse.
But all us on here me included are mouning about losing are bets think about how much the owners have lost instead of winning 166,272 euro they get 8,330 and miss out on a group on the breeding.

harry findlay in an interview last year with racing uk was really keen to send him to aintree and Paul Nichols has said he will probually have another run after the Gold Cup and personally would love to see him run in the national and for them to take the gamble which sometimes is lacking in racing

Sizing Europe for me in a canter. At 6/4 you have to have a bit of that. Should be odds on in my opinon.

Ill be going Straw Bear each way. My only worry is that the fences have took something out of him.

It is sure to be a top class race. There is no doubt that Kauto is a top class horse but is he still one? Lots of french horses go off the boil and that could have happenend to kauto. But i do know if i wanted one to trainer to prepare a horse for a race it would be Paul Nicholls. I personally fancy Our vic the horse has done nothing wrong and is progressive. But i wouldnt be dissapointed if Kauto wins as it would be great for the sport. Also looks like Exotic Dancer is almost definitely going to the Lexus Chase

I have to admit he didnt seem to travel that well through the race and personally dont think Paul Nichols is the type of guy who makes excuses
