Honestly if I were wealthy I would NEVER have a horse with Henderson.Far too much drama surrounds that man.
As for out for the season.Remember Binocular.Seemingly at grass at his owners. Then won the Champion Hurdle.
Aintree,Chepstow et al should have been called off.Full Stop.No consideration for punters, racegoers etc etc.Imagine if there had been an awful incident in the fog.The animal rights mob would rightly have a field day. Also how can fences be taken out due to low sun yet jumped in thick fog.
Racing is its own worst enemy.
Why does Henderson turn everything into a huge drama? It really is time for him to retire IMO.Constitution Hill would be better off with another less nervous trainer.
If I owned a top horse I would’nt send it anywhere near Henderson. He has become yesterday’s man.Maybe it is time he retired along with Luccia & maybe Constitution Hill too.If CH was mine I would send him to Skelton,Derham or Olly Murphy.
Cork All Star.
Road to Cheltenham starts tomorrow night.
Not that its very informative as you said.David Jennings in the increasingly useless Racing Post called Summerghand a ‘loveable old rogue’.I bet a lot of owners would like a ‘rogue’ like Summerghand.
He is a most consistent old horse who has been a marvellous servant to connections whose powers are waning with age.I hope he has one final swansong then is retired.
One of the most if not the most competitive 10f GP1 races for a while, what do we have on Racing TV,Mcnae & his RaceIQ data rubbish boring for England.
Why oh why do they not get it that making racing so analytical also makes it extremely boring & an utter turn off.Surely this has to be the last year of this rubbish. Its a novelty meeting that has ceased to be a novelty.
Half the jockeys this year have never ridden at Ascot & most of the rest have ridden there rarely apart from Hayley Turner,Seamie Heffernan & Billy Loughnane. No wonder racegoers & punters are turning away from the sport.
This is a ‘Premier Saturday’ in which betting turnover must be limited so affecting the levy. This race & this day’s racing was ruined by putting in the all weather track.
This used to be a good afternoon’s racing but no more.
All weather racing. No thanks. He seems to be a particularly classless individual. If I were a top trainer I would refuse point blank to train for him.
Very sad.If that were here at Cheltenham or Aintree the animal rights mob would be already be condemning the sport.
I will be interested to see if there is a similar response in Ireland.Sire Du Berlais was a real warrior.Rest easy old boy.💔😢
I would suggest that to win the trainers championship, you have to train 50 winners plus in the UK,under that no matter how much prize money you win you cannot win it.
Oh & odds on shots do not count towards the winners total wins outside of Graded races.
To stop Mullins as he has done this week sending his horses to small tracks like Perth to hoover up prize money. These trainers didn’t in the main benefit from the vast increase in Graded races, including Mares’ and Bumper races.
Well said Stilvi. If & I doubt they do Cheltenham want to review the festival then get rid of the mares chase & hurdle & the bumper. Also the Ryanair & the intermediate distance races.
Go back to 3 days with proper Championship races.
But they will never do that as only one thing matters now.Money.Good old Willie will be saving me a lot of money 🤣🤣🤣 as he has finally killed any interest or affection I have left for racing.
I will keep my money. If everyone does the same the levy will fall & the sport will die.Well done Willie!
Congratulations.🤬🤬🤬🤬
This man & his rich owners are on the verge of killing NH racing here & in Ireland.
I have my own opinion on his dominance which I will not voice here.
Other than I personally will not watch NH racing again nor bet on it if Mullins has a runner.
The guy sickens me,as do people like RTV for sucking up to him constantly.I suggested to the BHA to encourage British owners to have their horses trained in the UK,that perhaps a 25% bonus could be added to prize money for British owned & trained winners at Cheltenham,Aintree & in other Grade 1 races.
Something needs to be done.
I totally agree Gladiateur.
Something needs doing to stop the Irish & in particular Mullin’s dominance- AuthorPosts
