Alan, you may not be aware that Mrs Thomas is a prolific trainer in Arab horseracing.

When I switch on the watch the Ashes later in the summer I will be most upset if they do not keep the cameras on any Mexican Waves, Beer Snakes and people in fancy dress. That is what most cricket fans will be tuning in after all and if they are not cricket fans they will want to see that type of thing more than the cricket, which is, let’s face it, pretty dull.

So it is with the racing at Royal Ascot. What a pity Leslie Crowther is no longer available to show them how it should be done

Eventually the new site will be as good as the old but only after they introduce all the features of the old site and that could take years.
How shortsighted of them not to carry on with the old site and IMPROVE that. A backward step. I vote for the old site.

As the new site does not work for me – either too slow or unable to log on – and certain features are not working properly, I do not consider the site to be a site at all.

Perhaps their journalists were either overwhelmed by the size of their lunches or too busy trying to log on their website to do anything about it.

Thank you Mikky. You will see from my joining date that I am not actually a ‘new’ member, just don’t post very often.

Could it possibly be because he can’t make it pay any more?

Flat: Chester. Not a racecourse anymore. Full of drunks and trap one wins every race.
Jumps: Uttoxeter. Going often dodgy. Fences and hurdles omitted (Newcastle good alternative)
Artificial racecourse: Ascot Like Disneyland racing.
