Manley V Taylor final so the the place bet’s won

Taylor was shocking last night in the semi with Mardle – if the Essex bloke had been on top form would have been 6-2 or 6-3 to him.

Anyway, expect normal service tonight and wouldn’t be suprised to see 7-1 or 7-2 Taylor, but am hoping not!

    Hi Irish

Fully agree. Am on EW and if Manley gets to the final, The Power will tear him apart, especially as there’s history there already.

    Will make top telly though!

BTW – all the 28 and 25 Andy Fordham’s gone now – top price 22.

Mason looked very good last night (12 or 13 180’s!) and on another night would have beaten Part – great match.

16 1/2 to 1 Scholten to reach the final is great value, but the Lewis match will be tough. Priestly did OK against him & had his chances, but in he first set Lewis was awesome… almost untouchable, even by Taylor.

My Manley bet is still live but don’t hold out much hope as he needs to up is game by 20% to have even a squeak & don’t think he’s up to it.

And in the BDO…. a few prices out now and think I may plump (ha ha) for Andy Fordham in top half of the draw.
at a very tasty 28/1.

    Be lucky

I do rate King, but the only problem is he comes across as a complete t0sser. He’s hated by the crowd (and 1/2 the other players) so is always going to find it tough.

The 25/1 Lewis looks big now that Lloyd’s crashed out….but so does my 200 Priestley & 50 Manley (who can surely play better than he did last night)

    Lets….Play….Darts!!

His Champion Hurdle win was the highlight of that years festival for me.

    Will be missed hugely.

Have now added Manley e/w 50’s.

25/1 to reach the final looks good value, but reckon the win portion is dead already as IMO The Power’s unstoppable.

Will be at Lakeside most nights for the BDO version in January. For some reason the bookies aren’t pricing it up yet, but reckon there’ll be some value this year as Raymond Barneveld is opposable.

Have no problem with Freddie winning.

But, did have a problem with Daley Thompson. A proper champ in his day, but WTF was all that about….

Mason’s a bit temperamental for me.

Am on Priestly e/w at 200/1 and The Power at 10/11…but only for peanuts unfortunately.
Flat
Would have to be a Breeders Cup (must be the classiest days racing anywhere in the world), but with the Proviso that Europe have at least 3 winners!

    Jumps
Tuesday of the NH festival…..well the first 3 races anyway. The build up… then Supreme Novice…Arkle…Champion Hurdle. Perfect – then off to the bar.
And, the crowd on the Tues last year was nowhere near as bad as previous years.

    Worst
Haven’t got one. Going racing anywhere is better than working.
I go once a year to the Reading Masters final.

Don’t know much about the woofers, but my record is 5/6 winning nights

Loved watching the Derby on 425/Sky & have vowed to have a night out to Wimbledon next year.

    Good luck with those Trevor.

I’ll add my three against the field:

Droopys Oasis (60) & Tims Crow (30) – both won their first round heats last night

Burberry Boy (85) – runs tonight

Droopys Corleone (250) – not sure when he goes!

Not financially a great result, but it was a fantastic tournament and Mickleson deserved it.
I’ve joined in on Harrington.

Would love to seem him do well & don’t want him winning un-backed!

Well, my ‘shockingly bad selections’ did OK  but still only ended marginally ahead.

Won on the outright and top male/female markets, but found it impossible to call the evictions correctly and lost on all bar two:(

    Bring on Celebrity BB…

Bruce Millington (p 67 of todays Racing Post) sums it up perfectly….. “a shockingly bad selection (or selections in my case) and ends up getting exactly what he deservesâ€ÂÂ
