    Well put Stilvi

What as happened to all the novice chases gone.

    Utter dross today and tomorrow.

As you say everyone gears up for the Festivals but it is ruining day to day racing. It is not just NH

Wait till the summer starts and it is full of class 6 handicaps with some horses rated not much higher that Evostick

Still the bookies will be happy and the mugs will still go in and lose.

    I have to agree.
Here is the Stewards report. The ban should have been a lot longer.

The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of SIROP DE MENTHE (FR), ridden by Lucy Gardner, and trained by Susan Gardner, which was not asked for any effort on the run in before finishing second, beaten 4 ½ lengths for first place. They interviewed the rider and the trainer and heard a report from the Veterinary Officer. The rider stated that she had mistaken the race distance, thinking she had another circuit to go before the finish and therefore she had not ridden the gelding out. Having heard her evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards found the rider in breach of Rule (B)59.3.2.2. They suspended her for 14 days as follows: Sunday 8, Monday 9, Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11, Thursday 12, Friday 13, Saturday 14, Sunday 15, Monday 16, Tuesday 17, Wednesday 18, Thursday 19, Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March 2015.

He has been mentioned on here a number of times now. A jockey I now avoid. He is poor

In all seriousness who is interested.

I can’t pick winners in the UK where I study the form I certainly would not bet abroad where I have no idea of form whatsover.

    Tea for two beaten
    Fletchers Flyer beaten
    Teaforthree beaten

    Sone Cheltenham aspirations dented there.

Well he is on Runswick Royal again tomorrow at Haydock after giving that a horse another inept ride last time when if you watch the race again he should have won by at least 2 lenghts but conspired to wait and wait until it was to late.
    I now avoid him

Which case was that with McGrath I don’t recall but would be interested to look at it.

Not my favourite jockey I have to say, but his ride on Hawk High at Kelso today was poor.
Why he chose to come up the inside and almost get pushed through the wing of the second last flight only he knows. Whether it cost him the race is open to debate but I think it would have been on the nod.
At the time he was travelling supremly well but then lost ground had to switch round the third by which time the winner had first run and got the lead on him which he held to the line.
Poor judgement, not the first time and I doubt it will not be last from him.

It would be an astonishing improvement should he be supplemented and win which I doubt greatly.
He could only come 9th in the 4 miler last year.
It would be a shock to me if he could mix it at the top IMO.
I know he beat Lord Windermere but that horse is trained for 1 race only and you will see a different horse next month.

Where can I find the free stream for RUK

Like Eddie said their performance today was truly shocking.

It is Racing UK not Racing France.

If you let me know the free feed I will cancel my subs

    Yes I agree.

His West Wizard today much touted beaten again. Josses Hill not a natural jumper at all IMO at the moment.

The press seem to leave off him for some reason.

I agree a great spectacle down the back straight. Super viewing course.
Always interesting to watch the planes land and leave at Heathrow in the distance. Amazing to watch them.

    BHA

Nigel Twiston-Davies, the trainer of SPLASH OF GINGE, which was pulled up, reported that the gelding was unsuited by the right-handed track. The Stewards ordered the gelding to be routine tested.

    He knows now
