Nobody on this thread mentioned SNA to win.So he won two Group Ones this year. Montjue has two very good prospects for next years classics; Wading and Camelot. He won the Derby this year Will he do it again next year?

wading looks a fantastic prospect for next year and is the one i would back right now for the oaks.her easy defeat of pimpernel looks rock solid now and she looks the type to go on next year.who knows if camelot will go on next year but come april may time imsure well get the vibes whether he will be the next star from ballyboyle.some line up aiden obrien has for next seasons three year olds with wading and maybe for the fillies and camelot, wrote, crusade, daddy long legs and neprite for the colts.takes me back to vincent obrien around the time of caerleon sadlers well etc when he cleaned up the 3 year old division.

I have to say St Nicholas Abbey’s win was pretty sepcial. What a fantastic jockey and what a loss it will be when he gets too heavy. I’ve said before he reminds me of Piggott, not only in stature but also in the way he seems unflappable. He was shuffled back, didn’t panic. Clearly on the best horse but so easy to get things wrong in that arena.

I thought he reminded me of lester as well.Pity it might all finish for him on the flat but what a year he has had.seems sucha nice lad as well.Interesting hearing aiden saying how much his sons input is invaluable to him.maybe young joseph could be aidens successor in years to come.

I can see why people think he was being rude but as racing fans over here know he does this after every big win.it was just great to see just how much pleasure the obrien family got from the whole experience and also the joy the coolmore mafia showed. To me it was one of the greatest racing stories with young joey as the yanks called him showing maturity well beyond his years.also the horse winning so brilliantly and of course the trainer doing a brilliant job in getting him right for the big day.
I think in all the euphoria surrounding the race it has been overlooked what a horse st nick could be.that was as good a performance as any bar danedreams in the arc and hopefully he will be back next year but the temptation is there for him to go to stud.thanks aiden for making the breeders cup so memorable.just one thing though.Dont bother with the dirt and lets hope none of those who ran on it are any the worse.btw what a team of horses he has for next year.Cant wait already.
