I’ve had Ask Brewster in my tracker for this since trainer mentioned it as a target at start of the season after win at Chepstow.
It also put me off backing him in the Kim Muir!
Glad he’s got out in one piece to enjoy a deserved retirement.
Enjoyed following his antics over the years, doesn’t feel like over 4 years ago he was making his anticipated chase debut in the Colin Parker @ Carlisle, where he of course shipped Derek Fox after a stumble!
Looking forward to seeing Starmount in this, took 10/3 with Betfred last night.
Expecting him to be the pace angle, getting 3lb from Le Beau Madrik could be a lot here, could be hard to reel in.
Cracking race this, very competitive as it should be and i’ll be there to see it in person.

Seen him win here a couple of years ago, dropped in trip today but that could actually be a positive looking at how he travels and finishes.
As much as i would love to see him bolting up in the champion hurdle, its simply not worth the risk at this stage, the fighting fifth was his chance to prove he had shed any demons from 6 months prior.
This will just be a watching brief for me, would love to see nothing more than constitution hill back to his sparkling self again!
Bet365 super boosting a top 2 finish was tempting, but i see those things as a curse these days!
Also went with Hold That Taught – 12/1 e/w , definite ew chance with Ned Fox’s 5lb claim applied.
Jet Plane – Coral 7/1 , already had a go over these fences at end of last season and had a tune up at Worcester last appearance in September.
Skelton loves a big pot so hopefully the intention will be there, just never know with them though!
