Bet Caballo De Guerra earlier in the year, and he ran just ok.

Friendless in the market at the moment, which is a worry, and he’s probably of more interest to me at Aintree in a few weeks, but can’t leave him at current odds

Edit – wee bit extra at 100’s. Maybe not today then. One for Aintree

Plenty with a chance, established and progressive. Had hoped The Last Cloud would be longer price, he has solid form, but current 5/1 is plenty short enough.

As ever with this race there should be plenty of pointers for the future.

Fun race to have a go at. Lord Byron yet to win but ran a nice race behind Maestro Conti in a grade 2 at Chelters. Just in behind LB was La Luna Artista who really boosted that form when winning the Adonis last week. Only issue is we are looking at 4 year old only events so the bare form may not be enough in this novice company.

Looking forward to seeing Starmount in this, took 10/3 with Betfred last night.

Expecting him to be the pace angle, getting 3lb from Le Beau Madrik could be a lot here, could be hard to reel in.

Lord Byron for me too Chivers. Form interesting, especially with weight allowance.

    Lord Byron 17-2.

The more I know the less I understand.
