Not too keen on anything particular in these 2 races so going to chance a couple who have proved themselves previously in this grade or better…
    0.5 pt ew double
2.00 Epsom Arabian Queen at 11’s
    5.15 Code Red at 20’s
    B365

I like to go for small stakes but big hits (explains my very low strike rate!) so
    Oaks/Derby 0.5pt EW Double Bellajue 40s/ Moheet 50s (B365)
0.5pt EW Double Together Forever 10s/ Elm Park 8s (B365)

Thanks for the encouragement and advice VTC and seethesun, I’ll try my best to stick with it!
Oaks on Friday, I’m already on Jack Naylor thanks to reading the advice of Jonibake I think it was but I think there is a bit of value in the price of Together Forever at 10s so 1pt win

I was just looking at 3yos record really in relation to Art Connoisseur…. Keep changing my mind on this (if Paco Boy doesn’t run that is)..too many ifs and buts, so might end up having couple of small bets on outsiders. Equiano and Ancien Regime.

According to Racing Post, Simon Crisford says Schiaparelli "is like an elephant" …. doesn’t sound too promising for me!! I’ve done Campanologist at 5s though, so fingers crossed.

Scenic Blast- rather than "getting home" I mean to say that he may not be as effective here.

I’ve been looking at this again as I’m guessing it is going to get too firm for Paco Boy and they will pull him out. It looks very competitive for me, I have a nagging doubt about Scenic Blast getting home – may be completely wrong, but it makes his odds too short for me. I tend to agree with RedRiot and think it may be worth sticking with Art Connoisseur, I’ve checked back over last 20years on 3yo Golden Jubilee/ Cork and Orrery winners who have tried to follow up in this race…
    1989 Danehill 3rd at evens,
    1991 Polish Patriot 1st at 6-1,
    1993 College Chappel 2nd at 9-4,
    1994 Owington 1st at 3-1,
    2008 Kinsgate Native 5th at 6-1 (btn 1.5 lengths)
(apologies if I have made any mistakes!)…. so a decent (though limited)record.

Paco Boy at 5-1 will do for me. Anyone any thoughts on Equiano?

Duncan not done enough for me to be favourite for a Group 2 race… I’m keen on taking a chance with Schiaparelli, 4 Group 1 wins, no penalty, Godolphin showing signs of life. Might keep an eye on the ground before doing Campanologist too.

I’ve joined this forum in the hope of improving my betting and learning stuff along the way…it is interesting for me reading everyones comments and conclusions on this race as it is one that I am probably going to put money on – I am thinking that Goldikova will win if back to reasonable form, (I am not too worried about her last run or trainers form) I think that she should be favourite. I could see Spacious and Rainbow view being dangers, but don’t like the prices that I have seen so far. So it is a small stakes bet on Goldikova for me at what looks like 5-2ish (small stakes because I don’t think there is loads of value at that price.) Any feedback welcome… or is it just a matter of our own opinion on these things?

The 3 mentioned already for me too- 1st Goldikova, 2nd Spacious and 3rd Rainbow view, can’t see anything else getting involved.

Strong pace will surely suit him- if he isn’t as badly away as he was in this last year and obviously has already mixed it with class acts, so Conduit is nothing new. Can’t see him being 10s on the day. (I haven’t cracked the exchanges yet I’m ashamed to say)

Would be surprised to see Youmzain win. The finishing straight’s simply not long enough for him. You’re effectively backing him for a place at 6/4 and you’ll get a lot better than that in the place market on the day IMO.

Hi Zarkava, Thanks for the response… I was just thinking that the horse has performed so consistently at this level, at the distance, at the course, it is probably going to be in with a decent shout again, whatever else turns up on the day- I don’t think it will be running for place only. Do you?

Hello to all, I have been reading the forum for a while and have finally decided to get involved! Youmzain overpriced at 10s for me… last 15 runs have been in Group 1s, won or placed in 11 of them including last 2 Arcs and last 2 renewals of this, reasonably adaptable on going, so not too much worry on that score. High class and very consistent.

Meant to say each way!
