There can’t be many grand national winners who’s prep include winning a grade 2 hurdle at 2.5 miles …horses who win gn don’t normally win another race , it leaves it’s mark yet with him it’s not left the slightest mark , he may not be the best horse in training but he must be the fittest with God wind …look at minella Rocco traveling to nothing and pulled up in 2 fences , if tiger was a boxer he’d be rocky …what was it drago said in Rocky 4 , it’s like hitting a piece of iron …tiger is iron , athletic and with a will to win
It’s more the supporting races I’m talking about , neither nicholls or Henderson have had a stellar aintree either
Jesus Wylie has had a bad year for losing horses , poor up for review
Jesus he,s a good bloody horse , it’ll be a bloody shame if we never see him in a gold cup , not a penny on him but a pleasure to watch , he,s nearly a big a freak as rummy
Fitzgerald ok apart from his continuing tipping of Henderson horses , agree with the camera work ….oh and they better play the champions theme ….let’s face it BBC did the national better …where are u des lynam when we need u most
She’s a superstar , as long as she’s over what ever she had at Cheltenham she,ll win
I really really hope the real apples jade shows up and wins this head in chest …
Thanks to kemboy , road to riches e.w , three musketeers and lostintranslation I know have a few more pennies to throw at this , gutted sandymount duke got injured but …
Rathvindon , I’ve already had a few plays at him , in my book he ticks every box …a clear round and I’m sure he,ll be on the premises
Lake view lad …this is horse is granite , thought his run off top weight at Cheltenham was a stonker , if he was trained by a bigger name trainer he,d be shorter ..
Tea for two , ticks a fair few boxes but ….his jumping , I thought he was traveling well before falling at Cheltenham if and it’s a big if he can jump round he’s well handicapped on his old form
Ballyoptic , Scottish grand national form works out well in this race , there’s been a gamble on Joe Farrell but even if Bally doesn’t win I reckon he,ll finish in front of him , ticks a lot of boxes
Finally I reckon Elliot will have a well handicapped horse backing up tiger …but which 1 …I’ve sided with a toi Phil , distance is a big jump up into the dark , run at 3m last time was fine …if he can travel and hunt around the first circuit he’s a nicely weighted class animal
Well that’s my thoughts ….I bet at least 1 falls at the first … Asking as they allcome home safe
Lake view lad , rathvindon , a too Phil
I hoping she,s the start of my accumulater ….
They’ll say it’s a shame a grade 1race was a walkover …..sorry potato I couldn’t resist
How good could moon racer have been if he didn’t have legs of glass ….shame we,ll never know
I’m with you Peter , I thought forest carried his weight well at Cheltenham and duke of navan kept for this , forest bihan deserves to win a good 1 , he’s looked at the backside of some really good horses
I was a bit disappointed with Supasundae at the festival , I’ll stick with my rule with following horses who did t win at Cheltenham and go with summerville boy e.w , shot in the dark after 2 poor runs this year but he’s fresh and I reckon there’s still a good horse there
Boring but I’m with kruzhlinin and road to riches , roads run in the national looks very good in this line up …saying that not greatest fan of the jockey
At a flat track like aintree I’ll be very surprised if the likes of clan and kemboy won’t have too much speed for EE, I think if he finishes 3rd or 4th he,ll be doing well , I’m having clan win with a clan see obeux/kemboy forecast , clans king George run is the best form in the race and I reckon he,ll have too much pace
Aspell on sandymount duke ….there’s a man who knows his way around , I’ve had a mare on early bets recently but this one is looking slightly better now
