Its probably clutching at straws abit because imo the winner looks like being either 1 of the Nicholls big two! But Cappa Bleu was very impressive in the Foxhunters last year and has age on his side for improvement 2! He is due his 1st start for Evan Williams on saturday at Cheltenham. I am hoping he will show the improvement needed to embark on a Gold Cup Campaign!

Does anybody know any information about Cappa Bleu? My sister-in-law works for William Hill and has been telling me there has been a continued support for this horse for the Foxhunters. Ive looked on oddschecker and he has now replaced juveignuer as favourite. Anybody have an oppinion?

Do yout think the national winner will come from these shores this year or will be going back over to ireland again. Once again the irish have a strong team heading over with the likes of Snowy Morning, Slim Pickings, Hedgehunter, Point Barrow, Chelsea Harbour and Dun Doire!

Unless ive totally lost the plot, this zaarito’s a machine!

That was the view of The "Couch" who writes for the weekender after he whitnessed the performance of Zaarito the other week in the bumper at Naas. Along with Apt. Approach and Time Electric, the irish once again look like having a strangle hold on the champion bumper!

JP already has the favourite for the Supreme NH in the shape of Captain Cee-Bee so either way he is going to have 2 horses that clash weather its Francheok/ Cee-bee or Francheok/ Binocular. Surely A.P will have the choice which horses he rides to so that alone should be interesting!!
