If you can find a better option at 66/1 be my guest

I won’t find them just for the sake of finding them, Fists – outside of Exotic Dancer and the possible four Nicholls acceptors, I can’t imagine anything else good enough to make the first three home barring carnage.

My mistake I misread his post nd thought it was restricted to the gold gup………as it is the entire day I have absolutely no hestiation in rcommending 8/1 Bonocular and take it now. It is Possible Franchoek will go for the SA and even if he doesn’t he will be hard pushed to beat this horse IMO
February 18, 2008 at 12:53 #144425Fist,
Franchoek is almost certainly going for the Triumph, Alan King has said as much live on TV mate. Everyone assumes, that because Franchoek and Binocular are owned by the same owner that they won’t be clashing and that Franchoek will be heading elsewhere – this is completely not the case if Alan King is to be believed.

February 18, 2008 at 13:09 #144434Joe Lively in the RSA Ch is a cracking each-way bet IMO – currently 16/1 with Totesport & Skybet.
February 18, 2008 at 13:11 #144435Of course Alan King doesn’t own the horse JP does.
He is training the horse and his target is the Triumph Hurdle until advised otherwise.
Be a little suspicious Mike.
Why is Franchoek enter for both yet Binocular entered for only the Triumph?
If Binocular absoltely hacked up against some decent hurdlers in his next race would JP be temepted to go for the two prizes instead of one?
The only saving grace I can see for Franchoek AP backers, if Binocular was to do that, is that JP might have backed Frnch. for plenty already.
Personally I wouldn’t hesitate to make the switch……They could both get beat in the Triumph and Franchoek surely would have a much easier race in the SA.
However how good Binocular is we have still to find out.
February 18, 2008 at 13:49 #144454Was just speaking to my bookie and he says Binocular is entered in the Supreme NH can anyone confirm that?

25/1 standout with Ladbrokes tells me its almost certain he wont be running in that race.
February 18, 2008 at 14:26 #144464Second-guessing JP is about as sensible as dangling your goolies in a pool of hungry piranhas.

This is also trueFebruary 18, 2008 at 14:38 #144470Second-guessing JP is about as sensible as dangling your goolies in a pool of hungry piranhas.
Im not second guessing. Ladbrokes pricing is virtually telling me for a fact that he wont be running in the supreme novice.
February 18, 2008 at 14:42 #144471I was talking to FOF, Zoso, given that he was asking about Binocular’s entries and the possibility of Franchoek switching from the Triumph.
February 18, 2008 at 14:54 #144477Thanks for digging that out for me Zoso……I am still not confident what JP will do.
It all started when a certain person said it wouldn’t surprise me if JP bla bla bla………obviously others were thinking the same way and got into the press………as normal JP is keeping stoom which means Frank Berry can say anything and then say JP changed his mind, which makes LGR correct..you wouldn’t have a clue what the man is thinking………….25/1 for the SNH…….I’m sure JP would hate to have a few quid on Binocular at that price
Get’s worse by the minute…ever wish you hadn’t asked ?
February 18, 2008 at 22:17 #144576JP already has the favourite for the Supreme NH in the shape of Captain Cee-Bee so either way he is going to have 2 horses that clash weather its Francheok/ Cee-bee or Francheok/ Binocular. Surely A.P will have the choice which horses he rides to so that alone should be interesting!!

Exotic Dancer
February 19, 2008 at 10:10 #144631Am i alone in having little time for ew betting?
Certainly at Cheltenham horse can be simply "run out of it" and others can simply run into the places. I suppose its reasonable to look for a stamina laden type if betting place only.
The 5/1 on offer about Sublimity winning the Champion Hurdle again seems a spiffingly good each way bet to me.
i think he will either win (i doubt actually) or blow up badly. Have to disagree with you there himself

Having said all that, i really like the way Sentry duty went about his racing last time. I wonder where he really stands in the Henderson pecking order
February 19, 2008 at 12:40 #144662Salford City 33/1 supreme novice (if good ground)
