4.25 Chepstow Who Dares WinsThank you VTC for all your hard work, the competition was fabulous. Well done Roosterbooster on that stunning score.
Thanks for that Sea Bird. All my efforts to find out proved fruitless. Looking forward to his return.
Fabulous news!
I have loved this race since it was known as the Schweppes Gold Trophy and when it was “easier” to pick the right one. My last winner was Bootlaces in 1980 (20/1) and before that, the ill-fated Within The Law who beat his better fancied stable companion, Major Thomson in 1979 (at 25’s). I don’t recall a placed horse since, though I live off the fact that it must be one of the most abandoned races in the calendar, so there hasn’t been many runnings since… that’s my excuse anyway. Montbazon still for me at a big price though will be particularly interested to see whom Richard Johnson selects from the Hobbs’ yard.
Thanks VTC.
Could anybody be able to tell me when the next entry stage for the Betfair Hurdle is and while we are on the subject, which is the best website to find similar information? … I’ve tried the BHA and Wetherby’s sites but with no luck. Cheers.
My own fancies for the race; Days of Heaven / Montbazon though wouldn’t be surprised if neither turned up.

Thanks Steve, I have also noted that the RP entries show him as doubtful, so something must be out there. And you’re right with the talk all about Consort (not to mention Pricewise), he looks like SMS main Guineas hope. I wasn’t aware Convey was a ridgling though and cheers for that.
