This afternoon’s news has made things easier though losing both Champions Hurdle chances doesn’t help.

Take it back, ITV very kindly explained it to me.
Have just seen the photo finish print on ITV, am I alone in thinking that Invincible Army is in front? Fabulous race, but have the Stewards got it wrong?
As the rail ends, he looks like he is going to pull up, mistook winning post? I just can’t have that he heard something.

Tully EastVTC; would you please drop me your details, I would like to contribute to the prize fund.
Getting a little irritated by some of Francesca’s statements; the latest being that Shalaa retired to stud after his 2 year-old season. Cannot remember them all though another was Permian being Derby favourite after his Dante win… call me picky.
Churchill to prove a few dissenters wrong and dominate his age group (thank God, he’s not by War Front).
Quite enjoyed it myself, can’t fault the enthusiasm and it was after all, a bloody awful day. Hope Matt tones it down a tad though still vastly superior to the faltering Tarns. Just wish they wouldn’t talk over eachother, can put that one down to first day nerves. Agree Ed doesn’t have the fluency of Luck, but plenty of time for that.
I’d give it a 6.5 / 10.I thought what a cracking question and an easy one to answer, but actually I have struggled to pin it down to one moment or performance, though I was at Sandown in 1981 to see Shergar win the Guardian Classic Trial and Diamond Edge the Whitbread. Finally settled on Derring Rose’s Stayers Hurdle win. It’s still the race I turn to on Youtube, staggering performance.
