too early to say regarding barbers shop but i thought the 2 to take from the race were the winner joe lively for whom the track may not have suit its record left handed in small fields is ,(2111111) and also silverburn who jumped great but imo was taken off his feet and also imo needs lots of give, its record at 16-17 furlongs on soft or heavy is,(2111),chipmunk

why is everyone on such a downer regarding afsoun. ive had some great wins with this horse. if you look at its profile and only back it when conditions are in its favour it has only failed to place once!!!
IDEAL CONDITIONS = LESS THAN 11 RUNNERS,17 FURLONGS OR LESS,GOOD TO SOFT OR WORSE its lifetime form then becomes, (11F123). im quite happy with that, chipmunk

i cant see harchie winning the CH but if osana turns up and runs a race like make a stand did a few years ago i cant see it out of the frame, a fast run race and carberry picking them up late to get placed at least, chipmunk

i agree 40/1 is an insult for a former champ and at those odds could be worth a bit but how often do champs come back as good as before, not often and kk would have to be at his best with kauto and denman, chipmunk

even allowing for the mud splattered colours and the melee that decimated the field, have a look at RED MARUADERS national win on you tube. i had backed it at 40/1 and 33/1 and despite lying in the first 6 throughout never got mentioned till there were only 5 or 6 left. its funny now but i was screaming at the telly…………….THERE IT IS YOU BLIND *** / ITS IN THIRD PLACE…it wasnt just one commentator either they all joined in,chipmunk

to be honest i have never been to haydock so couldnt comment but my experiences of newcastle and doncaster put me off for life. you only have to watch channel 4 racing to see these cretins. mac and tanya right in the thick of it and these halfwits on thier mobiles phoning home to say ooooohhh look ma im on the telly. granted they have to be in the jungle to correctly keep up to date with the market movers but would it be too difficult to have an area cordoned off (possibly with security) to do the market reports as imho any youngsters watching seeing these clowns week in and week out will think this behaviour is the norm, chipmunk

hardy eustace i have in my book as…………..on good going,(010111001) so the going may have been a contibuting factor, chipmunk

oh please dont get me started………….newcastle racecourse last season saw fit to give the kiddywinkles (little brats) inflatable hammers to run wild with, totally spoilt my day screaming and running around with no supervision. i know we have to encourage youngsters to take an interest in our sport but it seemed to me the parents simply sent them to play whilst they watched the racing much to the annoyance of almost everyone else, chipmunk

i have made a profit every year for the last 5 years (not enough to pack in work but enough to keep the wolves from the door) and the wife off my back. i have never and would never pay for information as all the info i need is in the RP. i profile horses to spot thier preferances and back them when (or if) the criteria is met. its long hard work but it pays off (like today 2 with nice profiles in an each way double (placed 8/1 and 5/1), chipmunk
PS i keep meticulous records as everyone should!!

it means a hell of a lot to me, i take note of winners at small tracks who put up high speed ratings but its hardly a suprise they clock fast times if they are running over 110 or so yards less, chipmunk

my local dog track will for a measly £35 quid announce your company name, provide you with a stand for trophy presentations, put your name in the card (also appears on rp online). once i get my website up and running i will be doing this on a regular basis, chipmunk

i must agree with the comments regarding common sense waiting till the sun went behind the cheviots. am i missing somthing blatantly obvious but if they know what time the sun goes down why have races due to start, surely they could run the races earlier!!!!!…………there again that wouldnt suit the real people who run racing…….the big 4,just my opinion, chipmunk

if it helps anyone these 10 year trends could help,
    9/10 were rated between 121-147
    8/10 were aged 8-9-10
7/10 carried less than 11 stone
7/10 were placed in at least 2 from last 3 runs
6/10 were placed last time out.
im on silver jack (took 25/1) and briery fox as these two come out top using these trends, cipmunk
