33/1 presenting Percy for the pertemps. Always ridden to get placed so handicapper doesn’t smash him. Connections won race last year. Both qualifying runs have been very catching. Jockeys have given horse really easy time. Davy Russell to ride. 33/1ew is a good bet
£75 total so a £5 L15.
Taken a risk on targets. I’m not that mad doing a bet over 1k 6 weeks before the festival.
But have been nibbling since July and looking back through Ive easierly bet a grand. But the dangerous thing it doesn’t feel like I have.
£75 Lucky 15 with Betfair
SUPREME- CHARLIE PARCS 7/1
RSA- MIGHT BITE 11/2
TRIUMPH- MERI DEVIE 9/1
GOLD CUP- THISTLE CRACK 7/4Poor vibes with Yanworth, I am concerned. I will be gutted if he doesn’t make the champion hurdle as have backed him to the boards.
Kempton was a good run on a stiff enough track and he showed massive improvement.
Not surprised BD has been switched back to hurdles following yanworth set back!
I’m hoping the minor set back reports are true and both yanworth and BD still both make the champion hurdle. JetSki has a pop at the stayers for some place money
York hills jumping needs to improve. They need to get another run into before the festival for more expirence.
I’m still confident he will peak and win on the day. Ruby was really soft on him and had bucket loads in the tank. Whisper the danger
Sorry for the late response
RYANAIR- UDS 9/2 win
CHAMPION CHASE- AR MAD 20/1 ewGordon elliot today brung up the possibility of blow by blow keeping to bumpers this season.
Already backed him 14s any race and 25s neptune. And although eligible I would assume the champion bumper at cheltenham would be unlikely with the giggingstown policy, although they usually have a runner.
Lucky pass the other elliot giggi horse I’m waiting for,Well that is a big blow! Thanks for telling me. Only positive is that i have only bet very small stakes. Was looking forward to him coming back.
I backed Djakadam 9/1 EW W/O thistle crack with BF Sport Book last week. Hes 11/2 now as a few have come out. I still think that a safe EW bet as i cant see him being out the first 4 home and have gone in again
I still fancy Blow by Blow to turn up in this, hes been back in training for a few weeks and will hopefully run around mid February.
It amazes me Gordon Elliot has suggested the AB is the target for death duty already. Looking at the Gigys runners they haven’t got much for the Neptune and BLOW BY BLOW is the strongest in the betting.
He beat Death Duty and Moon racer in Bumpers who are both Favs. He is obviously high class. I’m willing to take the risk at 25/1 and have been nibbling away for a while in small stakes ew lucky 15
Altior now 20s from 55/60 on Betfair. I can see no compelling argument against running him here
I hope he doesn’t run here i have had so many bets on him for the Arkle.
Anyone know if Ar Mad will turn up here or go for the Ryan air? I think 8/1 W/O without DOUVAN is a fair price.
CHAMPION HURDLE
NICHOLS CAYNON 33/1 EW SKY BETSTAYERS HURDLE
SHANESHILL 20/1 EW WILLIAM HILLGOLD CUP
DJAKADAM 14/1 EWWINCANTON
14:05 SOME BUCKLE 5/1
14:40 CLONDAW BANKER 6/1
15:15 BRADFORD BRIDGE 6/1SANDOWN
15:35 CLONACOOL 14/1Happy punting
I have had a a dabble on OUT SAM & HENRY PARRY MORGAN at 20s
Hopefully OUT SAM will get in off a mark of 136. He lost so much ground jumping left at his fences at Kempton, this horse is very well handicapped but jumping will need to improve
Henry Parry Morgan will Hopefully have a spin over hurdles to protect his mark of 148 and a confidence booster. The Bowens should go down the same route as the druids nephew did in 2015. Cleeve Cheltenham National
Good Luck all
NAP: YORKHILL- JLT 7/2
EW: WAIT FOR ME- COUNTY HURDLE 33/1
LAY: CUE CARD RYAN AIRWho will ride ALTIOR come the festival? I hope connections will stick with Noel Fehily and don’t switch back to nico de Boinville
