As in today’s climate, racing seems to brush fatalities under the carpet as if it didn’t happen it seems to me. The sport doesn’t help itself in a hell of a lot of matters. It should in my opinion be much more transparent about fatalities and plenty of other matters. Regardless of the anti’s who will always have their say.

If the racing will be top drawer then it will be a forward step if not which i suspect it wont then it’ll be a backward step for me

I honestly thought that Dawn Approach was by far the better but Toronado is def on the upgrade and a stellar ride from Hughes won the day yesterday……….Dawn Approach wont shirk a battle and Toronado was ridden like he didnt want to get into a battle….two decent animals which tbh the 3yo division needs. its brightened up a dodgy ol season for me.

Why dont we just enjoy what we have now and embrace the moment…….you wouldnt ask Usain Bolt to run over 1500 metres would you. Such is the speed that Frankel has there would be a doubt in my mind that he would be as an impressive specimen over a longer trip (although a well imformed friend of mine reckons he would be even more impressive).Im pretty sure in 20 years time we will be revering Frankel as one of the mile greats

When Big Bucks first won the World Hurdle (beating Punchestowns) i thought a chancer that wont beat Punchestowns again…….How wrong!!!………..ive grown to love this horse……even moreso when i saw him at thje Parade of Champions at Sandown when his whole demeanour was one of "im the best" a really superb animal and ambassador for National Hunt racing

Long Run clearly good but not perhaps the superstar people (inc me) thought he might progress into.

Plenty considered Synchronised beforehand. He was only 8/1 after all and many considered he had a decent chance. He’s probably a better horse than he’s given credit for and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a better race than many are giving it credit for.

Next year with Bobs Worth and Sir Des Champs in the mix it’ll be interesting.

Bobs Worth is extremely interesting the division the way it is at the moment

Cant believe the events yesterday……..Biggest 2 mile chase of the year turned into an egg and spoon race……..fairplay to AD putting pertinent questions to the official and not fairplay to the official for fluffing the answers.

Must admit im a Binocular fan too, always had a soft spot for the horse and im really hoping he attends in good order coz it could be a hell of a race with HF if he is in tip top order. I personally am disregarding the race that Binocular had with HF in Ireland last backend as iMHO it was a farce of a race……..no doubting that HF is a very good horse tho.

I think Day of a lifetime could win the supreme if willie goes for it. The supreme is a weaker division than neptune in terms of depth and cue card can easily bomb out on the day. He jumps good too.

Yeah i agree bout Day of a Lifetime……i can see that one filling a place…..that one will be an each way saver for me on the day
