Big Buck’s odds against was like Christmas come early…or late, whichever you prefer.

Tom Scu said the horse will sleep well after Grands Crus gave him a race. Really? Looked like the winner was taking the p*** out of him – and Ruby!

He would have no chance in a Champion Hurdle, so I will have to disagree with Ruby on that. Wasn’t quick enough to win a Jewson, so how he thinks the horse could compete in a two mile hurdling championship, I don’t know.

It will be interesting to see what connections do with him. Go for a record fourth, or return to fences? Tougher decision than many would think.

I still maintain that he’d be vulnerable over fences. Was never convinced by his jumping, and just looking at the shape he makes over hurdles, I can see why he had trouble in that department.

He should win a fourth World Hurdle, but he won’t win a Gold Cup.

Just got home after a day at Cheltenham with my wife.

3 out of 6 for us.

BB was absolutely awesome! Man v Boy – simple as!

Quevega, BB – i just need Imperial Commander to complete the treble – NTD not in form though – concerned!

I still think his first one was the best, his oppostition since Punchestowns has been dire.

So maybe Grand Crus was over hyped.

Grand Crus, the young turk – BB the ‘daddy’ – Grand Crus clipping other young turks around the back of the head and then the ‘daddy’ turns up and gives the ‘young turk’ a slap!
"Get back in line! I’m not ready to hand over my crown yet!"

There are still three offences in this country where the death penalty is still the maximum penalty.
Arson in Her Majesty’s dockyard, treason and desertion in the face of the enemy.

Surely Tom Scu should be charged, tried then and hung drawn and quartered on two of the above ??

    Big Bucks = Legend.

Such a magnificent looking horse as well. I’m sad he won;t try fences again as I believe he could def win a Gold Cup. He has matured loads as the jockey said.

Grand Cru seemed to run his race and I don’t believe soft ground would have meant a result reversal.
