Chezza abject confession time – Chezza started a message to Gladders, but is very lazy and lost the will to live by the Arkle.

Chezza hasn’t got a scooby doo what Mullins runs where and – apart from Gaelic Warrior and Lossiemouth – doesn’t much care tbh as Chezza can comfortably wait until the 48-hour decs to find out.

Chezza would just pick the three shortest in the betting in each race and stick Townsend on the shortest one of the trio.

So Chezza’s pulled up in the paddock (having naturally first laid himself all the way out to 1000 at Betfair Exchange).

I’ve got two bingo pens ready
one for correct horse and one for the correct Townend ride
I’ve only been to bingo once in my life, it was my wife’s birthday.
Didn’t win a thing
had a few drinks, went home, went to bed… forgot my phone was on silent as that’s what you do at bingo so couldn’t know that was ringing
Couldn’t hear the landline phone ringing because that was down stairs and the year was 2012 and people had landlines back then, at least I did
then came the BANGING on the door. It was the police. My wife went to the window and I heard them say is Nathan Hughes there?? I was trying to think what could I have done..
It turned out that a kidney was awaiting me at hospital that I was 100% match for.
So off I went to get a transplant

The moral of the story is that even when I don’t win bingo something better comes along
so I’m expecting to win TRF Cheltenham competition instead..

Chezza’s been perusing Gladders’s Bumper Book Of “Rules Is Rules!” and on page 247, paragraph 16, sub-section XIV it clearly states: “Anyone who puts PT on a ride he isn’t eligible for (like in a Conditional Jockeys’ race) immediately loses all their points and has them transferred to Chezza, with the amount doubled if their name happens to be Neil.”

Chezza thought this a bit harsh, but then so are the new whip rules – that’s life!
