Id say the bookies got absoultely stung there 20/1 into 10/1 and all the one time punters backing McCoy.

Im so pleased for AP McCoy.
The horse did it really well, and a fantastic ride.
You knew when him and Black Apalachi were together going towards the elbow, McCoy would get him up.
So pleased for him.

I dont like The National but it was still a great spectacle and surely AP winning it will give the sport even more media exposure than ever!!!!

He might very well do the double with Ayr next week, Ruby wont be able to ride Denman next week more than likely
AP didn’t seem very keen beforehand about his chances – just shows to expect the unexpected!!! I was amazed he went off co-fav – he sweated up alot (which is apparently normal for him) – and I didn’t give him much of a chance – but then what do I know??? Pleased for JP and JJ – they’ve never given up.
I am so pleased that Ap has done it at last. I think I was riding the final couple of fences with him I was so excited. He has to win Sports Personality of the Year now surely. Also so glad to hear all runners and riders have come back safely.

I didn’t win and no one else could understand why i was happy. Well done to McCoy. Intersting that JJ encouraged him to ride that one.
