What do we have this week?
Would like to know so I can get plenty of study in ahead of Tuesday
January 28, 2012 at 21:30 #388810Blunkett, I’m on Dynaste e/w as well mate if you check back. Arkle’s up next……………..
January 28, 2012 at 21:47 #388815I’ll have 2 points win on Menorah then.
JOKING!
Al Ferof 2pts win 6/1
Tom will put up Cue Card. He doesn’t like Al Ferof, Blackstairmountain will more than likely be about 8/1 if he wins tomorrow, and if he doesn’t win, he’s not good enough. Peddler’s Cross he couldn’t possibly put up, Sprinter Sacre is too short, Menorah is too dodgy, Kid Cassidy’s jumping is nowhere near good enough, nor is he. Cristal Bonus is Jewson bound, so it’ll either be Bog Warrior or Cue Card that he puts up. I very much doubt he puts up Bag Warrior & therefore Cue Card seems the only logical selection. I suppose he could still put up Blackstairmountain but it’s unlikely I think.
January 28, 2012 at 21:55 #388820Same goes Zarks
Al Ferof 2 point win@6/1
January 28, 2012 at 23:10 #3888402pt win Cue Card 10/1

Sprinter Sacre 5/2 gen.
January 29, 2012 at 10:31 #3888742pts Sprinter Sacre 5/2
January 29, 2012 at 11:23 #388879The way this horse jumps is just electric, looks nailed on to me;
Sprinter Sacre, 2 pts. 5/2, general.
January 30, 2012 at 10:36 #389019Full list updated (I think!) from all your selections – I’ve edited an earlier post. Onto the Arkle now, and I’ve been backing Al Ferof for most of the winter so I can’t really dessert him now. Sprinter Sacre obviously a huge danger and Peddler’s will be better at Cheltenham. I think Sir Tom will tip up Cue Card as Sprinter and Peddlers are too short a price and he doesn’t like Al Ferof. Blackstairmountain bombed out yesterday (albeit on shocking ground) and Menorah can’t jump. That doesn’t leave a whole lot else, bar possible Kid Cassidy.
2pt win Al Ferof 6/1 generally.

Cue Card blue on oddschecker.
January 30, 2012 at 13:51 #389044Have backed Peddlers Cross earlier in the season and think there had to be something amiss at Kempton. If there wasn’t, then Sprinter Sacre is already in the winners enclosure. I’m confident we’ll see a different Peddlers on the day, but that still might not be good enough in what is a hot race. I was very impressed with his jumping at Bangor where he got from one side to the other like lightning.
Peddlers Cross
2pts win
9/2, generallyJanuary 30, 2012 at 15:28 #3890552 pts Cue Card at 10/1 (Youwin)
This is one of the best value best of the meeting imo. Arkle is made for him. SS top notch but CC has been too big a price for a long time. He faces SS at Newbury on the 11th.
January 30, 2012 at 18:10 #389076AL FEROF 11/2
January 30, 2012 at 19:31 #389084Can’t see 5-2 anywhere for Sprinter Sacre.
If this were the £1m drop, most of my money would be on Sprinter Sacre.
However, for the purposes of this, i’m pickingFor Non Stop 1pt e/way at 25-1.
On stiff tracks, he’s only just been beaten by Al Ferof and was a good second to Grand Crus over hurdles.
I think Sprinter Sacre could test a few of the more fancied runners and FNS could well place. Any mishaps to the favourite and he’s an excellent chance of winning.
January 30, 2012 at 21:59 #389101Menorah 16/1 one point e/w Paddy Power

He’s going for the Scilly Isles and then the Jewson.
