Going in big (for me) on Sailors Warn. His form with Steps To Freedom leaves Prospect Wells with a fair bit to find and he’s treble the price

Edward O’Grady is well able ready one for a big day and McCoy is booked to ride. I can see him going off 5/1 second favorite as the owner is fond of a gamble.

These are dangerous men when it comes to targeting a race, and this has probably been the plan for a while.

    LADBROKE HURDLE:
    €20 e/w Sailors Warn @ 10/1 (Ladbrokes, 1-2-3-4, 1/4, NRNB)

Hasn’t been the money I anticipated for Sailors Warn but I wouldn’t be surprised if the money came late, and I think he’ll still come in a bit before the off.

I’ve doubled him up with Reve De Sivola as well as backing that one as a independently.

    €5 e/w double Sailors Warn & Reve De Sivola @ 8/1 & 4/1
    €10 e/w Reve De Sivola @ 4/1

If he gets his jumping together he’ll take beating, and this test of stamina is bound to suit.

Just did some figures for the thread so far:

Out of 61 bets, 26 have yielded a profit, which equates as 42.6%.

I’ve placed €1,161, yielding a current profit of €499.92 (€125 also placed on ante post Cheltenham Festival bets, which I have not included for the purpose of this). That’s a profit of 43.1%.

Never totted up percentages form last year’s thread, could be something to do when I get an hour or two :?

Well done Darren, I didn’t do so great. Had two fallers and Shariyan was blatantly out for a spin.
