KALANISI STAR
Win
Winning distance ( any horse)
Over 5.5 Lengths 13/8
KALANISI STAR was hugely impressive in beating a 4/9 shot on debut by 16 lengths. Will love the heavy ground again which may not suit the Mullins runner. Mullins has a great record here and will pull out all the stops to beat this runner.
Kalanisi Star beat rare edition over points and that one has just completed a hat trick today.November 26, 2022 at 14:32 #1624685KALANISI STAR won well when sent on and to hold a top horse rates as impressive.
Bangor 2.38

Makes debut for Donald McCain after a win over points 272 days ago. Cost 70k not a lot these days.November 26, 2022 at 14:48 #1624696Gowran park

You don’t get many course and distance winners at 40/1 + next visit to the course.

A big big winner.
Worth keeping the thread going as it is providing so many winners.January 17, 2023 at 11:42 #1631248I’ve really enjoyed this thread and will try and put up a few more winners on it using the ALEXANDER METHOD of selecting…..
Much less from me here on in
Certainly less selections.
Concentrating on landing a few winners.
Kempton 1240
EM KAY JAY
Win
On form has a good chance in Kempton’s opener.
He beat my Genghis in an ordinary stakes race at wolves last time.
My Genghis won next time out and in doing so readily beat a 2/9 shot no mean feat. The third home behind my Genghis also franked Em Kay Jay’s form.
Em Kay jay is in receipt of free energy here and is very well treated for this handicap debut being several pounds below first rating.
The free energy aspect works either way so this runner could just as easily be last as first.
On a further plus point Hollie Doyle gets back on this horse after a crashing fall last night.
Hopefully she can get back safely doing what she does best.January 17, 2023 at 14:31 #1631269No joy and I’d hoped Hollie Doyle had recovered in time to ride. Best wishes to her.
Sadly the horse was lost yesterday which raises a few questions about his running. I’ve watched his previous two races now on replay the first two since being in Dubai for over a year and he raced prominently before struggling badly and appearing almost to pull up as if in discomfort both times… The perfect crown rip.2.40
Kempton
MOON OVER THE SEA
Win
Won for the first time over shorter and looks ripe to improve over further under Rossa Ryan now.
Faces two very good rivals and will have to be at his best here.
Same type of classified race as previous win.
DONALD LLEWELLYN
Each way
Off the track seven hundred days
This Gary Moore runner showed real ability behind Coltrane and Mishriff as a maiden before going hurdling. Tom Quealy has his only ride here.January 17, 2023 at 14:51 #1631270top tipping as usual Sam!!!
January 17, 2023 at 15:14 #1631276Thank you Ben.
Kempton 2.40

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 17, 2023 at 15:30 #1631281I can’t see past this Bonnie Kellie in the 3.25 Clonmel, have it as the last leg of a couple of doubles, though I’m not massively confident as it is Ireland, was expecting it to be 1/2 by now.
January 17, 2023 at 15:38 #1631282beaten into 2nd by a horse that was 0/10 over fences lol, love irish racing!
January 17, 2023 at 15:44 #1631283Thank you Nathan.
Union park not winning out of turn on hurdles rating Ben and you also have to check out point to point form there….
I do love Irish racing.
The hunter chase looks interesting.
The top trainer for hunters has a new recruit which looks good.
Anyway Kempton park finale 3.50
Tricky to pick the winner in an amateur jockey race but always look closely at Simon walker as he is often head and shoulders above the rest and he has the maiden
SENSE OF SECURITY to ride.
Win
Went close last time and a likely strong candidate to win with Simon riding.
For each way
BEAU JARDIN
takes a massive drop in class from juvenile days when Roger Varian had him winning first two races and never out of class three.
Sold three times before ever racing. 30k twice and 80k sold knockdown 2k to Jim bridger latest and dropped in trip now. Jockey not won as yetJanuary 17, 2023 at 15:57 #16312841st class pick with Donald Llewellyn e/w at 20/1 Sam
January 17, 2023 at 15:57 #1631285No Big G, I’m just lucky today!!
Right less spiel, ( in my write ups) more winners 🏆.

GLOBAL ASSEMBLY
Win
Won last two and only beaten by the storyteller in one race.
Always tricky these races but a good chance of coming up trump’s here.
