Looking to start this Saturday May 30th
No need to announce you are in just post selections for the first two weeks
The results of the two weeks will decide the groups and we’ll go from there
Bob Rolf rules and points system…. Example 4 horses per week, 1 NAP.
Use this Thread for all selections

Selections will be made from English and Irish races each Saturday with a cut off time of 5 minutes before your first race including reserves… Anyone failing the deadline will lose 20% on that weeks total points

You select 4 scoring horses plus reserves

Points will be scored from bob’s 4pp table with a twist of raymo magic for the big priced selections

In all races of up to 4 runners – only the winner scores
In all races of 5, 6 or 7 runners – the first two score
In all races of 8 to 15 runners – the first three score
In all races of 16 to 21 runners – the first four score
In all races of 22 or more runners – the first five score

*please note these places are for both handicap and no handicap

1/2 or shorter – 1st: 2 pts – 2nd: 1 pt – 3rd: 1 pt – 4th: 0 pts

8/15 to 10/11 – 1st: 4 pts – 2nd: 2 pts – 3rd: 1 pt – 4th: 1 pt

Evens to 2/1 – 1st: 8 pts – 2nd: 4 pts – 3rd: 3 pts – 4th: 2 pt

85/40 to 4/1 – 1st: 14 pts – 2nd: 6 pts – 3rd: 4 pts – 4th: 3 pts – 5th: 1 pt

9/2 to 15/2 – 1st: 17 pts – 2nd: 8 pts – 3rd: 6 pts – 4th: 4 pts – 5th: 2 pts

8/1 to 11/1- 1st: 22 pts – 2nd: 10 pts – 3rd: 8 pts – 4th: 6 pts – 5th: 3 pts

12/1 to 20/1- 1st: 27 pts – 2nd: 14 pts – 3rd: 10 pts – 4th: 8 pts – 5th: 4 pts

21/1 to 25/1 – 1st: 32 pts – 2nd: 16 pts – 3rd: 12 pts – 4th: 10 pts – 5th: 5 pts

26/1 to 32/1 – 1st: 40 pts – 2nd: 18 pts – 3rd: 14 pts – 4th: 12 pts – 5th: 6 pts

33/1 & 50/1 – 1st: 50 pts – 2nd: 20 pts – 3rd: 16 pts – 4th: 14 pts – 5th: 7 pts

51/1 to 99/1 1st 65pts – 2nd: 30 pts – 3rd: 18pts – 4th: 16pts – 5th: 9pts

100/1 and above 1st 80 pts – 2nd 36 pts – 3rd 24pts – 4th 22pts – 5th 14 pts

**IN THE EVENT OF A DEAD HEAT FULL POINTS WILL AWARDED TO BOTH (OR MORE) HORSES**

NAPS

Each week select one Nap
A Nap will score double points but only win only if your Nap finishes 2nd in say a 12 runner field you will score the standard points

If no Nap selection is posted it will become the 1st horse selected

Likewise a Non Runner Nap will move down your selections unless you have selected a NB

Format

Will depend on numbers

Will start with 2 standard weeks and then groups will be made up from there, league position will provide rankings which will be used to pick the groups, group points will then produce new ranking so if knockout games are tied after two legs highest ranking will progress
How many qualify from groups etc again will depend on numbers.
Knockout phase after groups will compete in two legs
