You misunderstand me – I have not been a member of ERC, just worked closely with them.
However I know that for a lot of the organised mornings and open days (other than to Clive Cox’s) there are charges, or at least there used to be.

Slight back-track there SL?
April 26, 2006 at 23:23 #68564I hope, one day, to find a member of the Elite Racing Con who isn’t absolutely overjoyed with the nothing service they receive.
My grandfather used to be a member, so I know exactly what the club offers and how they go about their business, and he couldn’t wait for his subscription to end.
And, just to bolster my argument, he still hasn’t received his share of the season’s winnings from three years ago (he was lucky even to have the option, as the policy used to be that you didn’t get anything at all if your membership wasn’t renewed).
May 7, 2006 at 18:10 #68565I notice Tajjree is entered at Nottingham in a 6f maiden on Friday.
May 7, 2006 at 19:12 #68566Thanks DJ! Good luck to her!
May 8, 2006 at 09:49 #68567Provided the ground doesn’t turn soft she should be running as first time runners get preference.. The forecast looks like aftre today we’ll get sun so fingers crossed
May 8, 2006 at 19:17 #68568It’s my day off work, so I might actually pootle along to watch. Keep us posted on whether she runs or not please! Fingers crossed. :)
May 11, 2006 at 11:45 #68569Burroughill, she’s not running now, Kirsty’s still not happy with her starting as she’s still falling out of the stalls rather than breaking. She’s not completely come in her coat yet either.. So 25th May hopefully at Lingfield….
May 11, 2006 at 19:00 #68570That’s a shame. I may still go anyway; it’s a good trip out Thenks for the info.
May 24, 2006 at 10:38 #68571Has been declared for the Lingfield race with Steve Carson due to ride.
May 24, 2006 at 12:46 #68572Good luck with Taj, I hope she runs well and does you all proud. I’ve been looking forward to seeing her out for a while now so will be watching with great interest. I am sure that she will provide a lot of fun for the syndicate.
May 24, 2006 at 15:53 #68573Good luck tomorrow to all connections
May 24, 2006 at 16:06 #68574yes good luck tomorrow, that looks like a pretty competitive maiden for that sort of race at lingfield. the form tells me it’s between the likely fav and 2nd fav, storm on the run and leopoldine but the other unraced horses look interesting too and i wouldn’t be overshocked if the 4yo won if it is fit and recovered. the rest of the one’s to have raced don’t interest me at all. but then what do i know, i couldn’t pick a winner there yesterday !
p.s., tell the rider not to lead into the straight or get stuck on the rail, it wasn’t good to be doing that yesterday – definitely faster 2 or 3 off the rail, imo.
good luck again with what should be a damn good e-w price
May 24, 2006 at 17:30 #68575Good luck to the syndicate, Kirsty and Tajjree tommorow :)
May 25, 2006 at 05:00 #68576Yup good luck to everyone! :)
