As we fast approach the first anniversary of Craig’s sad passing it would be great to see her run well in her next race which is due to be at Wolves on Friday.

Seconded. Best of luck Paul. Did they drop her handicap mark after the last race? Actually, better be careful, you may be accused of running her in unsuitable race conditions to get her mark down… ;)

Yes it was Derby day last year wasn’t it? I can’t believe it’s been a year. I do hope Taj runs well then, best of luck folks.

I see she’s running against Kitchen Sink again. That’s the horse she beat for her win isn’t it?

Certainly is,he is having his first run for new connections.
Not well drawn so I#d like to think we can beat him again.
Cosmic Destiny will take a bit of beating if breaking well from the stalls I think.

Just to let you all know I withdrew Taj as she arrived at the races in a distressed state when she got off the horsebox. I had the vet check her over and her heart rate was very high as was her respiration and she was sweating profusely. We monitered her the whole time and half an hour before the race as neither the vet or I were happy we took the mutual decision to withdraw her. SO she was officially withdrawn under a vets certificate. Any reason for the distressed state I cannot explain as she has never arrived like that before but my horses welfare ALWAYS comes first.

Hi. I’m just new on here and relitavely new to racing. This thread interested me greatly and I have just watched all Tajjree’s runs on the ATR website and was very impressed by her maiden win and by the comments on here the ground didn’t suit at Newcastle.

I hope she’s is back running soon and I look forward to seeing her in action. Good luck.

Just to say Tajj has settled in really well in her new base. I have taken over the reins from Phil McEntee since he is now suspended from having a trainers licence for the next year. The yard is based just outside Newmarket in a lovely setting with its own private gallop as well as only being a couple of miles down the road so we can use the Newmarket facilites as well. Half the yard is licenced for racing stables and the other half is set up as a stud farm. The residential stallion is Tumbleweed Ridge who I am most taken with. He has the most fantatic temperament I have ever seen in a mature stallion – totally chilled out. The former hurdler, Silver Wedge also lives there as a retiree – he too looks well and happy and it was really nice to hear of his whereabouts. Hopefully when we have a stable visit, the "official Forum photographer" will be present and able to post pics up of these two.

Just as a point of interest, Taj’s 3yo half brother by Cadeaux Genereux hopefully makes his debut tomorrow. His name is Kitasan Medalist and he’s entered in a 10f Maiden, the 7th race at Kokura, Japan. Unfortunately, today’s meeting at Kokura was washed out by a typhoon, so the meeting tomorrow must be in doubt, but I’ll keep an eye out. Taj hasn’t got many close relatives, so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

If you click on the following link you can access the racecard (some very familiar names amongst the sires of the other runners).
