Absolutely made up with that,we knew she had ability and great that she has shown it on the track.
She has finished a lot closer to Fastrac Boy than at Lingers which was pleasing and she really battled as SL has said.
We await her revised mark with interest.
October 15, 2006 at 04:56 #68651great stuff congratulations everyone

October 15, 2006 at 08:14 #68653You know i was reading this topic earlier in the week…
I went playing golf yesterday & totally forgot about this horse running….
Very well done & im sure there was BIG double figures available for the place on the exchanges…..Great infomation & good luck to you
October 15, 2006 at 20:45 #68654I nearly went along to watch in person, but decided against it at the last minute, so missed a fantastic race. And if I HAD gone, I’d have had a few quid each way, so I’ve lost out on both counts! D’oh!
October 15, 2006 at 21:17 #68655What a cracking effort – hope she has a profitable winter.
October 16, 2006 at 10:57 #68656Well done everyone, it was a terrific run.
Who actually owns the horse?
October 16, 2006 at 19:37 #68657Will she be entered into the sales now or will she be kept on throught the winter?
October 16, 2006 at 19:58 #68658Nothing decided yet although the current lease has been extended a month until the end of November.
October 16, 2006 at 21:53 #68659As GD says we’re going on until the end of November and then hopefully we’ll be able to sort something out following that.
As usual though, it’s a small syndicate and it’s very dependent upon numbers.
We’re very keen to carry on because we think that both the horse & Kirsty deserve a bit of support.
Kirsty has always had a lot of faith in Tajj and she went a long way to justifying that faith the other night.
She’s got ability, we’ve found her trip, she acts on both turf & the all weather and is also lightly raced with scope for a bit of improvement on that performance.
Dont forget that she’s been off the race track for 3 months prior to that run and is bound to come on.
Even though she was pretty straight we should see a few pounds improvement in the short term and hopefully, looking down her dams side, a few more over the winter as a lot of her close relatives down that side only really came into their own later on in their careers.
I was Craig’s partner in the Tajjree venture and to be honest, felt like throwing in the towel after he passed away.
We’ve all carried on really in the hope that that we could pick up a little win or two with her somewhere in his memory.
We deliberately stopped pushing the shares that were left in her because the current syndicate all have Craig as a common denominator and to be honest with you, we didnt have the heart to try and attract new members in light of what had happened.
That’s still the position really but we are hoping to carry on for at least another season so if anyone is genuinely interested in taking a share then you can PM me or email me on apb@gosschalks.co.uk & i’ll get back to you.
People who have been in previous syndicates, long time members of the site, or knew Craig either personally or via this site would be very welcome although there isnt an entrance criteria or exam to join!
Regards
Andy
October 17, 2006 at 22:49 #68660Fantastic!!! Completely forgot Tajj ran until seeing this thread now!!! Brilliant result for all concerned, enjoy it, and I really hope she comes back a bigger and better horse and can stick her head in front this time. Congratulations!
October 18, 2006 at 11:43 #68661So everyone knows, she’s been raised 5lbs by the handicapper, which given she had to horse rated 60 and above in 3rd and 4th is probably fair and not too harsh, although it has scuppered the plan to run her in a 0-50 race at Kempton. She should be out again soon and if she comes on for the run (first in over 3 months) she should be in with a shout again.. Won’t be getting 50/1 again though!! I’d have almost paid for my subscription had she won!!!
October 31, 2006 at 21:40 #68662Entered Friday 3rd Nov Wolverhampton H’cap 5.20
up 5lbs in the handicap to 53. Kirby again booked.
Heres hoping.
November 1, 2006 at 05:35 #68663Good luck everyone! I’m crossing everything :)
