Cilaos Emery wins absolutely nothing
Another 1 bites the dust from the Supreme picture. Melon and Crack Mome 1 – 2.
How highly thought of was cilous emery early in the season because if he’s been overrated then potentially the whole of Mullins 2 mile novices have.
Slight negative for Melon IMO.
Please don’t jump on me MELON backers as I’ve backed him at 10/1 aswell.Although ive heavily backed airlie beach for the mares novice, ive taken the 200s available for this, as these 2milers keep failing small chance she could end up here (very small) dont even know if shes entered

Slowly slowly this field is falling apart…
I still can’t help but look at 33/1 Capitaine and think that that’s just an insane price for a horse who’s won 3 and finished runner-up 3 times from 6 starts, esp 2nd in the Tolworth behind the Neptune fav. If he doesn’t make a mistake 2 out, gives Finian’s Oscar a race and wins, he’s favourite. A big ‘if’ admittedly.
I’m just looking at the field and thinking that if Consul De Thaix doesn’t win the Betfair (it’s looking like a very hot race at the moment), after everything shakes out Capitaine should be a 10/1 shot. I think he should be a 10/1 shot now, but I mean on the day he’ll be a 10/1 shot.
These are the horses between Moon Racer and Capitaine in the market.
I don’t know Bunk Off Early, Bravissimo or Peter The Mayo Man.
Saturnas, Neon Wolf, Airlie Beach, Defi Du Seuil, Finian’s Oscar and Let’s Dance go elsewhere.
Crack Mome, Cilaos Emery and High Bridge are not good enough.

the standard of the favourites in the supreme right now is piss poor, chateau conti has stronger form than melon, not saying he will win, but at this stage it would not surprise me

LOL LOL LOL. It beat a horse that got beaten miles the time before. The race was utter garbage. No decent yardsticks to go on. Chateaus only stiff competion fell exagerating the winning distance
What price you reckon id get Mullins not to have a horse placed in the Supreme
they would have to fall not to get placed

Neither have beaten any horse thats form holds any substance, my point is chateau conti beat a horse alot further than melon did,the form means nothing because the horse they beat is garbage, but hes 10 x the price of melon, im also not saying either are good enough to win, personally ive taken huge odds on alot of outsiders(cc being one just because the price), its setting up to be a poor race in terms of what will come out of it for next season
