I’ve not seen it, but we can probably chuck Top Ville Ben in the bin after struggling to beat Count Meribel.

Delighted to get Capitaine onside a bit more at 48. Not entered in the Neptune so I think it’s almost certain he runs here.

Contrary to the Neptune, I actually like my book for this! My only loss so far is £2 on Kayf Grace at 520. I’m really struggling to see any value with the market principals. Melon, awful 4/1 fav. Moon Racer is priced up on his Bumper – also…where is he? No idea if Charli Parcs runs, ditto Defi Du Seuil (he wouldn’t win anyway). Neon Wolf can’t win, Finian’s Oscar runs in the Neptune (and I wouldn’t put it past Capitaine reversing form on better ground). Cilaos Emery is a talking horse and then we’re into the 20/1 shots. High Bridge cannot win. Jenkins might but his prep doesn’t sound too great. Capitaine looks a very reliable horse. Consul De Thaix looks very interesting. What’s happening with Saturnas? Then honestly, what else is there? I’ll reveal my dark horse on Saturday 3;-D Nice to see Mount Mews entered as I have him at big prices.

    Any second now not entered

Crack Mome backers can’t be happy about that news.

1 less horse to get in the way of Crack Mome as he scorches up the hill :yahoo:

I’d be careful with Saturnas. He’s stepping up in trip for his next run and his connections have said they’re aiming for a The Neptune. That of course could easily change if Willie decides he’s a Supreme horse.

Just seen this – you are right. Entered Neptune and Albert Bartlett. I have NRNB on Saturnas fortunately.

My impression from watching Saturnas was that he’d improve for the step up in trip from the minimum, would interest me if confirmed for the Neptune think its the right race for him and he’s been underestimated so far as he’s been passed over by Ruby twice and seemingly second string. Could also just be the Irish novices this season ain’t up to previous years standards though feels like we could have big price winner of all three novice hurdles.

Apologies to Joe and anyone else who followed me in. One of the guys in the syndicate who owns Top Ville Ben filled us in on their plans. Their plan is the race at Kelso that Le Prezian won for them last season. Got an entry for the supreme but prob wont run. Apologies folks.

Keeper Hill has an entry, which is fully warranted given the impressive manor of his two victories this season although I thought they might bypass the festival all together. Warren Greatrex can ready one for Cheltenham and this 6 year old is 33/1 NRNB with Bet365.

I was fairly impressed with Melon the other day he’s far too short now though, even if he is likely to have had more experience in schooling races. I’ve added Charli parcs @ 7’s Nrmb as my main bet, I think he’s better value at the moment. I’m just crossing my fingers he ends up here, he looks like he could be a machine but time will tell. I loved it last year when Altior left Min trailing in his wake and I’m hoping we get the same scenario here.

Taken out, I’d imagine on account of the ground.

Chateau conti still 16/1 NRNB, won in same fashion as melon, equally as impressive on Heavy, similar form on good ground

Great value, and owner sais he will be heading to the supremE

Entered in the deloitte, will piss it if he runs

Looking at the third fav any second now, that looks a place lay to me

struggled to get to the front two last time out at punchestown before finally picking them up and running out a ready winner. On the plus side he finds and he’s not a bridle ponce, which you need at cheltenham, but I would think this would happen all too quick for him.

the other factor is that you’d have to think that at the mullins yard they believe that Melon is a lot better than this crack mome.

Melon is the superior horse. Dont discount Crack Mome if we get our usual good/soft start for the Tuesday. Think it could be a Mullins 1- 2 like it was 2 years ago.

Maybe Melon is the superior horse but it would slightly concern me the way he dived at the last on his debut win

there’s not long to go to the festival to get the experience needed

moon racer looks more the finished article- maybe melon the better prospect in the long run but the pipe horse looks rock solid

also cast your mind back to his bumper win- was beating horses like yanworth, bellshill, form which looks rock solid in the context of this race. and to me on the video he looks a stronger and more confident individual than he did then

I agree about the MR form, I’ve stated in previous posts that it was a rightful fav at the time. You’ve got to think that willie knows the time off day though. The horse has had its niggles that have kept it off the track, otherwise he would of bunged it down the Vautour/Douvan route. Instead he put his faith in Crack Mome cuz that was his best available at the time – IMO

Having gotten myself acquainted with Saturnas last night, I can tell you that he is not quick enough to win a Supreme.
