He was with the winner all the way round before finishing 5th so its not a pace issue.
I think the going will get them blame but like Ian said he has won in the mud beforeGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 31, 2022 at 13:11 #1629061He travelled well but went out like a light. I never like to see that.
December 31, 2022 at 13:49 #1629075Think paddypowers 33/1 on Jet Powered is a slight overreaction, if he’s that price on payday I’ll back him, granted only for a smallish bet.
December 31, 2022 at 14:43 #1629093He did have wind surgery in the summer
Maybe a breathing issue?
It’s very often to blame when horses go out like a light like that after travelling smoothly
January 6, 2023 at 10:22 #1629839Not sure id be with the fav here and trying to look to much into jet powereds performance also, hes just not as good as he looked FTo id say
And ff thankfully you made a fair point about GC when i added him here that i put a few £ on the 65s for the bmore (as stated in thisnthread previous, not pulling the ole mike move)
But i dont really know who i like for this, gaelic warrior and GC, surely one of them will run here after sunday, if the other bolts up, id probably side with one of those two, whichever comes here
January 6, 2023 at 11:02 #1629844I’ve read twice in the past week that Facile Vega is no cert to line up in The Supreme. I cannot recall the first source, though it was Irish and I saw it in The Post. On Davy Russell’s excellent debut blog for StarSports today, he too warns that the horse is not certain to stick at 2 miles.
January 6, 2023 at 11:04 #1629845Unless he’s injured, I’d eat my hat (if I had one) if Facile Vega doesn’t line up for the Supreme.
January 6, 2023 at 11:19 #1629848Davy Russell’s view on the WPM yard wouldn’t be taken too seriously for me.
Elliot’s a little bit more maybe.

January 7, 2023 at 14:24 #1630040Arctic Bresil 25s so backed him ew, hoping for a win coming up…
January 7, 2023 at 14:30 #1630043…oops
January 7, 2023 at 14:32 #1630044He must’ve picked up a niggle GAG
Head up in the air not gone a yard
Don’t think facile will be worried about any of then
Winner looks a big baby, maybe one for next season over fences up in trip
January 7, 2023 at 14:41 #1630047Nicholls will have him pencilled in for the 2024 King George ;o)

Yeah or inhaled some kickback or something. Back to the drawing board.
January 15, 2023 at 16:24 #1631085Impaire Et Passe impressive again today. Looks to possess a good turn of foot, high cruising speed and ample stamina. Looks more of a Supreme horse than Ballymore to me. Apparently shows nothing at home which might make it tough for Willie and Paul to rate him in the pecking order of their novices. 8/1 with Coral a standout, and tempting, price.
February 5, 2023 at 16:42 #1634110Could see Gaelic Warrior ending up in this tbh the way he’s been campaigned so far.
