Cheltenham 1.15, laid Savello for a place at 3.95 to win £3.
December 10, 2016 at 13:27 #1276500Eastlake can **** right off.
+£2.93 from Savello place lay.
+£7.92 from Un Beau Roman place
-£10 from Cold March, who ran on late just like last year.
-£4.50 for combination forecasts/tricasts
-£4.80 for 6-folds
-£2 for EW double Cold March-Aso
-£3 for Un Beau Roman win back-£24.30, +£10.85, so…-£13.55 for the race.
BUT, I now have EW doubles with Un Beau Roman running onto Frodon + Aso. I’d be very disappointed not to pick up some returns from those.
£81.37.
December 10, 2016 at 13:33 #1276503Place laid Hartside in this Donny 1.30 to win £2
December 10, 2016 at 13:35 #1276505Lost £1 on Aristo Du Plessis and won £1.93 on Hartside. £82.30.
December 10, 2016 at 13:52 #1276512Place lay Full Shift to win £2.
£1 win + £1 place Turban.
December 10, 2016 at 13:57 #1276514YES FORECAST, WINNER + ASO 2ND
December 10, 2016 at 14:01 #1276517Nice one Zark……

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 10, 2016 at 14:07 #1276523+£1.93 on Full Shift place lay
+£1.93 on Aloomomo place lay
-£2 on Turban
-£3 Aso win stake.
+£49.16 for the forecast
+£12 for Frodon win
+£10.25 for Frodon-UBR EW double
+£5.56 for Aso-UBR EW double
+£4 for Aso placed
-£1 for King’s OdysseySo I believe I’m +£78.93 for the race, taking me to £159.23
If I’d put UBR in my Lucky 15/4-fold, I’d be looking at Mister Grez in the 2.15 at Lingfield for the 4th placed horse :'(
I’d also have my 6-folds alive had Eastlake ****** off, needing one of the three favs in the next and one of the two favs in the Bula. Gutting.
December 10, 2016 at 14:15 #1276528I can’t believe I’m just missed laying that favourite. Got caught up in all the excitement of the Caspian. Wanted to lay Briar Hill too.
December 10, 2016 at 14:24 #1276535Just found a 10p EW Lucky 15 +25p EW 4-fold I did with Ladbrokes.
Whisper 6/1
Cold March 10/1
Aso 8/1
Mister Grez 8/1£72.82
So happy that Mister Grez was unplaced, I’d have gone mad for not doing at least a 4-fold with UBR. -£2 for my back of him, -50p for the 4-fold and 1 winner, 2 places on the L15 for -40p.
Got nothing in the Cheltenham 2.25 apart from RFC for the front 2 in the market. Disgusted by their SPs, it’ll pay nothing unless West Approach wins :(
December 10, 2016 at 14:38 #1276544Cheltenham 12.05, Defi Du Seuil/Domperignon whatever
Cheltenham 12.40, Different Gravy/Whisper
Cheltenham 1.15, Cold March/Un Beau Roman
Cheltenham 1.50, Frodon/Aso
Cheltenham 2.25, Wholestone/West Approach/No Hassel Hoff
Cheltenham 3.00, MTOY/TNO5p 6-folds, which I believe makes £4.80
This is ridiculous. Had Eastlake ****** off, I’d need MTOY for £775 or TNO for £1000 off this bet. Eastlake has cost me a ridiculous amount of money. 50p EW double Frodon + UBR (356/1, so nearly £180), UBR-Vaniteux forecast (£60-80), UBR win single (£70). So £1000-1300 Eastlake has cost me by not ******* off. And I’d still be in the Cheltenham placepot. Instead I’m up £70.
And my lack of concentration resulted in me not laying Briar Hill or that 1/13f. What a **** day.
December 10, 2016 at 14:40 #1276547Doncaster 2.40 0 0 Seven, 3*. £3 at 1.7.

This should say £160.23, as I deducted my Aristo Du Plessis bet twice.
+£2.60 for Lucky 15 returns, -£3 for 0 0 Seven. £159.83. Expecting to add over £10 with TNO placing and £2.41 with my lay of Mister Miyagi.
But today is all about Eastlake. What a ******* of a horse.
Really really need MTOY to run very well for non-thread reasons. I have a ridiculous amount of multiples on him for the Champion Hurdle at 50/1, including one with Wholestone for the Albert Bartlett
December 10, 2016 at 15:13 #1276559I had to back TNO and MTOY at their prices. It was something like 70% for them. Nonsense, should’ve been 95% the 2.

Plus the place bet, so that’s £9.66 profit from those bets and I can add that, plus my £5 stake on TNO to place. £14.66 to add to £159.83, so…£174.49.
Morning Herald is a non-runner so £175.49
Been doing this for 2 days and already made 75% of my bank and I’ve been very unlucky with Eastlake, costing me something like £1200. I’m just waiting to see how much the placepot at Cheltenham pays…I’m feeling very optimistic, albeit a bit pissed off, about these early results and I’m looking forward to the future challenges, bring them on! I put up 2 race previews and gave the 2-3-4-5 and the 1-2. Gonna go and study for tomorrow’s races now, where I have a LOT of notebook horses running. Should get a lot of little lays in tomorrow, and maybe a winner or two.
December 10, 2016 at 16:06 #1276573Placepot prize fund: £142,583 Races: 12:05 12:40 1:15 1:50 2:25 & 3:00
Status: Result. 1190.87 winning units get £119.70 each£119.70 a line in the placepot, so that’s 4 lines I’ve missed out on. Had I staked a 5p placepot on my 6 selections, the £4.80 layout would have returned about £25.
Many, many crossbars hit today.
December 10, 2016 at 16:50 #1276593Wolverhampton 5.15 Cajmere, 50p EW
Wolverhampton 5.45 Equally Fast, 4* bet. £2EW at 20/1 and Illegally Blonde, 3* bet, £1.50EW at 28/1. 50p RFC.
Just lost 50p laying Arsenal at 1.01 but…

£7.70 profit, meaning the bets above only take £1.30 from my balance.
£174.19
