    The BHA does have a fit and proper test for being an owner. It’s quite hard to find but is on their website Britishhorseracing.com under regulation and governance, licensing, licensing forms, owners, owners guidance notes PDF. It is 3 pages long but not sure how many times it has been applied.

    Thanks Goodfellow. Very interesting. In answer to your question, judging by the “Honesty & Integrity” criteria, I’d guess rarely, or at least very selectively
