These are handicap races rated according to form and the current tissues prices factored in. Previous winners of the race are averaged and the label, Race STANDARD indicates the level achieved put into this race.

TUESDAYS RACE:
Informateur makes a quick return after racing yesterday.
(I suppose may not make the tape) Anyway, with Any Drama as second top rated and the RACE STANDARD sitting in on 3rd spot it looks attractive for selective staking on the top 2.

AYE AYE : Informateur non runner & ANY DRAMA 5/1 WINNER

2.25 Uttoxeter. Tricky affair with only 6 runners on going that is likely to decide the outcome. Evidence De Thaix remains top rated. An interesting runner is Storm Wizard who cost 25K 2015 and has been moving up the handicap mark considerably but is still needing to find more in this company.
It is a race best watched.

WEDNESDAY AT CHELTENHAM:
There is no denying Kalashnikov who is up to the Race Standard even with top weight. Magic Saint impressed the handicapper on latest outing. Top 2 rated can be backed selectively

Fixed Rate & Cracking Destiny look a couple to consider who have been bettering the handicapper.

The Jam Man and Beware The Bear look a cut above the rest in a hot contest. Both could be backed selectively.

THURSDAY RACING AT AYR:
Return to traditional display style.
A reasonable handicap with an opportunity to back the top 2 with selective staking

FRIDAY’S RACING IS VERY MUNDANE. Invitational is a strong favourite but in this 5 runner Class 2 event it’s unlikely to throw up our usual opportunity to back the Top 2 rated.
So, on this occasion we will skip Friday.

WITH THIS HIGH STANDARD TOTTERDOWN’S FORM IS IMPRESSIVE AND THE RATING WARRANTS CLEARLY TOP HERE. TOTTERDOWN COULD DICTATE FROM THE FRONT TOMORROW. HENDERSON LIKES THIS RACE AND GUNNERS WITH LOW WEIGHT IN VERY SOFT COULD FIGURE FOR THE STABLE.

USEFUL HANDICAP WHICH LAST YEAR WAS WON BY THE TWO AMIGOS WHO SET A FAIRLY HIGH STANDARD. TOP WEIGHT HERE VINNIE LEWIS (WON THIS RACE IN 2018) AND POSSIBLE FAVOURITE HARD TO FORGET ARE THE TOP 2 RATED, EACH COULD BE BACKED AT SELECTIVE ODDS.
