    My New Year’s resolution to keep a record of bets and stick to a discipline. £10 maximum. One bet per day on a single race. Use the ratings method and back Top 2 in the same race. The staking £5 each selection. Occasionally the £5 bet is applied as £2.50 EW. The total of course remains £10 Max per race.
    I use Bet 365 and Betfair. Most bets struck early on the morning of the race.
